TS2 WONT RE INSTALL! PLEASE HELP

Sorry if this is the wrong spot.
So long story short I messed up like all of the townies, and I regret it.
So I watched a tutorial on how to reset the towns, but when I did it, it was just empty terrain.
So I unistalled the sims, put it back in, it did the whole thing where you click on the button in the top right cornor to open the wizard thing, but after that, nothing else happens!
I've tried restarting, cleaning off my disk, everything!
The game is completely uninstalled. I uninstalled the game and it's files so it could restart, do you think I deleted a file I need to install it?
Please help.
