Nice skintone replacement

Hi Simmers,

So I'm back on Sims 2 and must make all the necessary changes so my eyes don't want to bulge out of their sockets, because, let's face it, the sims are ugly.

I've been roaming the web (MTS and Sims resource) in search of good replacement skintones and found some good ones but the sims appear all pink and shiny in game. That doesn't look attractive at all. They actually look like they greasy skin It's awful.

Iv'e looked in the "favorite picture" thread here and some of you guys have real good skintone and the sims look quite nice.

Any tip to what I could get?

I use Selzi default skintone replacements. Default replacements change everyone in the neighborhood so everyone looks good.
I also use Selzi default face replacements with empty n'hoods (which require a little more setting up)

The skintones are on Selzi's website however I checked and his downloads aren't working.
The face replacements are on modthesims and I think the empty n'hoods are too but not positive.

Mina's skins aren't so far from the Maxis ones, but add the option of a lot of ethnic variety.
