Even though this is not in a game, but I hope it can be added in Fallout 4 in the future... Would be perfect.

I love video game music, I even arrange and compose it. This is my favourite video game track of all time. It's from one of my favourite RPGs ever, Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven.

@TinySpaceFox, My husband has huge playlists of music from different Sonic games. So I hear it all of the time. Really fun stuff.

@rjssim, So cool that you compose music! :open_mouth:

@DominicLaurence, End of the World almost brought me to tears the first time I heard it. I'm not a super emotional person, but the right music turns me into jelly. :grimace:

    Great tracks so far!

I want to add this one to my list too. (Which is bound to grow longer because I'm a total music geek.)

Tapha Niang - Little Big Planet

The first time I got to the Swinging Safari level this song made me completely stop playing and just sit there with my eyes closed and my character idling. My husband even stopped what he was doing to listen. The ending is so awesome!

Wish I could list all the ones I've liked... or, even remember them.

    FFIX - "Kuja's Theme"
also "Freya's Theme" and "Dark Messenger"
Guess it's fair to say, I liked all the soundtracks. This game was my first video game, so it has a special place on my list.

    DA:I - "Oh, Grey Warden"
"Sera Was Never" and "Empress of Fire" were other my favourites.

    Assassin's Creed 2 - "Back in Venice"
    & "Florense Tarantella", "Venice Escape"

    Assassin's Creed 3 - "Connor's Life"

Mass Effect 2 - "Humans Are Disappearing"
Mass Effect series had many other good songs but can't remember their names.

Persona 3 - "Blues in Velvet Room"

Persona 4 - "Electronica in Velvet Room"

    SDR2 - "Ikoroshia"
    & "Discussion -HOPE VS DESPAIR- ", "Re_Distrust"

Kingdom Hearts has some pretty good music:

I also like some Zelda music:

A darn shame, Nintendo with an orchestra touring and playing Zelda music, couldn't orchestrate TP's soundtrack for the HD remaster. *sigh* I really want to hear this track on live instruments!

There's also this little gem from my childhood:
Graze The Roof (Plants vs. Zombies OST)

@BariSaxy , my husband and I actually really wanted to go to see the London Symphony Orchestra perform some of the music from Zelda. But, we won't be able to make it. :disappointed: Still, the games do have some great music.

We have a few AC music fans in the house, I see.

I was thinking today about some of the great songs that I've heard for the first time in games. Ones that may not have been originally composed for the game, but fit so well.

Something Good - Life Is Strange

This was another song (like LBP's Tapha Niang) that made me stop everything so I could listen to it. I knew Max had important stuff to do, but I just let her hang out in her dorm room while I kept pressing repeat.

Big Iron - Fallout New Vegas

Possibly one of my favorites from all of the Fallout radio songs. I love this one so much. I've played this game for years, and I still squeal every time it comes on.

Old Love New Love - GTAV

I just  this song. That is all.

My Silver Lining - Tales from the Borderlands

Such great music in this game. It's hard to choose just one. But I love this one and thought it was the perfect ending credits song.

The King and All of His Men - The Sims 3

I downloaded this one as soon as I heard it.

Oh this is really difficult, I'll narrow it down my absolute favourites though:

Fear Not This Night - Guild Wars 2

I love this song soo much. I'm forcing my mum (who is an opera singer) to sing it at my funeral if I die before her

I Am The One (Dark Fantasy Version) - Dragon Age: Origins

Dragon Age: Origins was chockfull of beautiful music, Inon Zurr is a genius. My other favourites from the soundtrack include the main theme and Leliana's Song

Rogue Heart - Dragon Age 2

Did I mention that I love Inon Zurr? Cos I really really do. Other favourites from this soundtrack include the main theme, Mage Pride, I'm Not Calling You A Liar and Destiny of Love

I Was Born For This - Journey

Pure beauty. There is nothing else I can say, it is simply perfection

An End Once and For All - Mass Effect

    I'm not crying, you're crying!

Pilgrims on a Long Journey - Child of Light

This soundtrack is full of gorgeous music, it was very hard for me to pick between this and Woods Darker Than Night

Kuro's Tale II - Her Pain - Ori and the Blind Forest

As much as I love the main theme, Ori Lost In The Storm, this piece is such a perfect example of how music can tell a story

Retrograde - Tales From the Borderlands

I just really loved this soundtrack. Every piece worked with the scene and it really made the game just that much more amazing. It was hard picking between this and My Silver Lining so I am glad its already been linked

    Literally every song from Skyrim
I honestly can't decide, all the songs are legendary
"I never like to do anything quiet if I can help it. Swords for everyone!"

Neither am I and I almost cried too, this song is awesome. After wondering why it reach us so much I realized that it happens just because the music is so pretty and so relatable, to both us and the protagonist. "Don't they know it's the end of the world? It ended when you said goodbye", that actually is pretty much what everybody feels after loosing someone somehow, and for the protagonist it resumes her/his life: the world can be full of chaos, but it truly ended for him because he/she lost the rest of the family.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty- "Yell Dead Cell". Best boss music ever.

Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal- National Park theme (I also love everything else from the first two generations)

    Final Fantasy 4- Prologue:

    Banjo-Tooie- Jolly Roger's Lagoon theme

    Killer Instinct main theme

Nothing hits me with nostalgia harder than video game music from games I played as a child, like most of the music above.
