    Sims 2 & Windows 8.1

    I had to reset my computer. I previously had The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection and it played fine on windows 8.1 (though I can't remember what I did to get it to play). & now I've re-installed it, and it won't load.
    If anyone has a link or guide of how I need to install it, it would be much appreciated.

      What sort of problems are you having when you say it won't load?

      The game won't launch. Like it says, The Sims 2, and then it just stays on that screen. It never gets past the screen to where you select the neighborhood you want to play.

      Exactly how did you reset your computer?
      Dissatisfied with Sims 4 and hoping for a better Sims 5
