Sim friends or Simmer friends? For Simmer friends, this post should do. You can add me. There are probably others who will comment the same. My screen name is the same on the old TS3 website. You have to search from there.

I always thought that old system was dead and buried. Seems useless now, due to the Gallery and the Forums here.
The Exchange and Sims 3 Store are still up on the old site, and I still get friend requests. So no, it's not dead by any means - only the forums have been moved to here.
I am Sindocat on the Sims 3 site as well, if anyone wants to add me.
It occurs to me that no one in this thread has been explicit in explaining how to add a Sims 3 simmer to your friends, or send a friend request.
Go to your page on the old Sims3 site - www.thesims3.com/mypage/{username}. If you aren't logged in, you'll have to do that to access this feature. From that page, you can access your Friends page from this drop-down, as highlighted in green:
To accept friend requests, look at your "Requests to Add" tab. To send a friend request, look at "Search a Friend" tab, and run a search on their name. They'll get an add request that they can accept or decline.
