    I was playing the Sims 2 Castaway today, I forgot how much I liked it! I love that you can actually control your sim when they walk. What are everyone elses thoughts?

    Ever walk into a room and forget what you were going to do? Maybe that is because someone deleted the action on you.

      I loved it too, but I lost my disc years ago :(

      The water is much more attractive too. I usually play story mode to unlock everything. Then I play rotationally. Some cc and mods from S2 also work. Castaway is probably my most favourite sims game outside of S2 and S1. But I haven't played it for a while because I have to redo story mode. I still have it and intend to play it again. I just need some time.
      Dissatisfied with Sims 4 and hoping for a better Sims 5

      I loved Castaway! It would always freeze when a storm hit, though. My disc got all scratched up, but my friend recently gave me her's... but my tv is broken :D So I can't wait to play again once I buy a new tv.
      It's so fun when you beat the game. I loved building/furnishing the houses, harvesting all the fruits, and getting in the hot springs.

      Castaways was better than life stories or pet stories ever were.

      Very much so. Found the other two quite shallow for my taste, but Castaway was right up my alley.

      oh happy memories! i still have my pc disc, i absolutely loved that game. the water was amazing, fishing with a spear, cooking the fish on the fire, sleeping in that beach bed thing. i tried to recreate it when we got sims 3 ip but it was never the same.

      Lol. I did the same with S2. Have pretty much nearly every object modded into my game, but you're right. Even in S2, it's not the same. Castaway really is a great game all on its own. It's almost what I hoped The Sims games would eventually incorporate (minus the story mode).
