Egads! Not this again!

Two days ago, I was not able to start my lappy, and I re-start Windows to an earlier start up and apparently, it was set to a date before I got MOVIE HANGOUT STUFF...
Now, for the most part, I can play my game, but I can not access MHS items.

So, what can I do? Uninstall the game and re-i install it? And if I re-install it, how can I save my progress? Or do I have to start over yet again?

Hello.
Click the sims 4 picture in Origin. Click the little "i" button that is next to the play button. That will take you to a screen that shows you what game packs, stuff packs and eps you own. Go to the stuff pack section, and you will find Movie Hangout pack there. Check to see if the Movie stuff pack is installed. If the button says download, you can then download/install it there. If it says play, try repairing the game by right clicking the icon and pressing repair.

If you need to uninstall /reinstall your game, make a back up copy of your sims 4 folder beforehand and place it on an external drive. This is a precaution in case there are issues. Uninstalling your game shouldn't affect your save games.
