I'm having this same issue after the latest patch. None of my sims have any relationship where as before the bars were full. Even my married sims now have no romantic bar !!
Also, UI Cheats Extension can make fixing the relationships easy. Both MCCC and UI Cheats Extension can be removed later without harm to your save, and both are well supported.
One tiny note, if there's no romantic bar, you'll need to have them flirt (etc... something romantic) in game to create it. UI Cheats can't MAKE the bar, but if it's there, the mod will USE it just fine.

Oh good, I've been looking for this message for days. @luthienrising there's ONE area where removing MC might have a detrimental effect... if a player has culling disabled and removes the mod, the game WILL swoop in with a mega-cull if they're over the allowed limit when they remove the mod.
Otherwise, Deaderpool said, not much would change. But that's a pretty big thing on its own. Just wanted to mention it... save files copied to the desktop=win, IMO. (Just in case... there's a lot of "in case" with this game.)

I agree with Amberlousmith. This has ruined the game.
I really love this game - a lot more than I expected to.
I do NOT use mods or CC and I have had very little problems with anything really, aside from some of the bugs that eventually get fixed. But this relationship thing is just sad.
I play in rotation, so when I play at a house I haven't been to in a bit, I see the couple doesn't have anything in their bars. It takes a while to build them back up, so yeah, it's not impossible, it's just an added pain right now. The option to "woo hoo" doesn't show up right away, for example.
Thanks for advice, but no thanks. I will wait and hope that this issue will be fix soon in an update. Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in that I'm disappointed this has happened to the game.

I have now found that load screens wipe the relationship titles and my sims are no longer classified as friends with a full green bar, as such, they cannot progress to higher relationship labels. Anyone know if this will be fixed? As I prefer not to use mods or cheats in game. Any advice or updates on this topic are welcome. Thank you :)

Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.
Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then copy back the "options.ini" or " options " file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders from the desktop sims 4 folder.
