Purchasing stuff pack items separately?

Hi, I am wondering if there is any way to purchase certain items without getting the whole stuff pack, like there used to be with the Sims 3 Store. For example, I am interested in getting the ice cream maker from Cool Kitchen Stuff and am willing to pay for it, but I don't want to get the whole pack because I'm trying to limit the number of CAS items to keep my game manageable and I hear it comes with a ton of clothing and hairstyles that I don't really want clogging up my game.
Alternatively, if there is not a way to do this, is there any way to remove EA content from my game? Like could I buy the stuff pack and then remove the unwanted CAS items?
