    Snape has left Hogwarts

    Alan Rickman (i.e. Snape) has died today of Cancer :(

    I loved him in the Harry Potter movies and also loved his performance in Love Actually. He was a great actor and Harry Potter will never be the same again...

    RIP Alan Rickman/Snape.

      Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. He was such a fantastic actor. I've admired him ever since I was a kid. My heart goes out to his family.

      I read about it on Facebook on my phone while on the way home. It felt so sudden, and I was shocked. :(

      The guy who played Professor Snape in Harry Potter died today. Geez first David Bowie and now Alan Rickman. :(

      I know we all gotta go sometime but darn!

      I just got up and this is like the first thing I read, not a great start to the day. So sad, what a great actor.

      I saw it on Yahoo first and was like "please be a hoax, please be a hoax". But it wasn't. It's all over my facebook and everywhere.

      I loved him as Snape (hated the character for the most part but he played the role well and it wouldn't be the same without him or his character), but I've seen him in other things and he really is a great actor. Seemed like a cool guy from what I could see in interviews and stuff. :'(

      Ah, I wanted to add this I saw it before and thought it was fitting.
