lots look covered in grass

i been working on building a world of my own for a while, but some of the lots look like they are covered in grass. I have tried to delete like a library and then put down the same one from the bin only to have it happen again. any suggestions or help

This could have happened because you had the lots placed first, and then you painted the terrain with a different texture.

I've had this happen before- they look like houses made of grass.
I don't remember how I fixed it but it was with S3pe... I'll look and see if I can find anything.
