Hello @ZeeGee Thank you! I still plan to visit! That is true, I have missed stalking the deals for a couple of months, I would get so excited when I would get a really good deal! However, I bought a lot the single CAS item using MMAO.. It is so strange, now whenever I peak to see the DD in the Sims3 Community Site I always see the blue download button.
I will continue to check what everyone at the DD is up to, I still check rnramey's posts.. Thanks for posting your latest video! One of the best surprises of being in the DD was discovering The Saga of Sunset Valley I enjoyed watching the prequals and sequels, you do an awesome job!! I am certain the last one will go out with a bang! I am looking forward to what you decide to create next!

@Me1620 Thank you for adding me! I already miss stalking the DD! It was one of my favorite activities during the Summer and Fall, got a little sad when I was already running out of deals to buy.. I even got some stuff through MMAO, and a friend gifted me a couple of the venues.. Yes, hanging out at the forum is something I still enjoy!!

Currently in my game, my sim has traveled to Oasis Landings, the town from Into the Future (ITF). When the expansion pack was released in 2013, I did have a peek but left the expansion pack for another day. That day has finally arrived. My sim purchased a home in Oasis Landings. The home was furnished and decorated with low budget vintage (or present day) furniture and building items. This was my opportunity to use a few store sets that I rarely have used in the past as my sims while into modern themes were not into futuristic themes. So, along with items from ITF, I used some items from the Futureshock Collection and Atomic Age Living and Dining.
Coincidentally, Futureshock Living is coming up in about 5 1/2 hours on the DD. Too bad that an item from the set, Botanists Nightmare, comes up on the DD after the set does.

@Me1620 I'm glad you mentioned ITF... I have noticed that many players don't play futuristic themes and I don't always understand why.. I built a futuristic world back in the Summer of 2018 called Dream-Topia and I did get a good number of downloads, so I thought futuristic themes were more popular, but then I realized that many people don't play them..
I personally find a lot of charming features to ITF.. I really like the plumbots and the fact that if your Sims does not want to hire a butler, a plumbot can be the perfect butler substitute, when one adds the cooking, cleaning and a couple of other chips. With plumbots no bed or salary is needed, and you don't have to worry about whether they are honest.. Plumbots usually are pretty honest.. I also like the pod beds and the futuristic art.. Store stuff that has futuristic themes looks really good when added to certain décor, especially the futureshock living room collection.. I also found that some of the items from Automic Age Living and Dining do look great when added to a modern themed kitchen... I'm glad you found those items useful in your game!

@LMC6255 - I think I will like using a plumbot. So far the plumbot has the handy chip and has been updating all the appliances. I agree that decor items can work well with other themes. I may have used the kitchen counter that came with ITF without realizing it was from that EP. I definitely have used Flux Flora which is an item in Futureshock Kitchen.
@LMC6255 I love ITF! And I've noticed lately a trend towards using it in machinima. Quite a few artists are doing future stories. I'll link my favorite at the bottom of this post.

Here's my favorite future machinima. It's the story behind two friends who created Sims Station but you don't have to be a sims station fan to enjoy the story. It's really well done too!

Hello @ZeeGee Thank you! I still plan to visit! That is true, I have missed stalking the deals for a couple of months, I would get so excited when I would get a really good deal! However, I bought a lot the single CAS item using MMAO.. It is so strange, now whenever I peak to see the DD in the Sims3 Community Site I always see the blue download button.
I will continue to check what everyone at the DD is up to, I still check rnramey's posts.. Thanks for posting your latest video! One of the best surprises of being in the DD was discovering The Saga of Sunset Valley I enjoyed watching the prequals and sequels, you do an awesome job!! @Me1620 I'm glad you mentioned ITF... I have noticed that many players don't play futuristic themes and I don't always understand why.. I built a futuristic world back in the Summer of 2018 called Dream-Topia and I did get a good number of downloads, so I thought futuristic themes were more popular, but then I realized that many people don't play them..
I personally find a lot of charming features to ITF.. I really like the plumbots and the fact that if your Sims does not want to hire a butler, a plumbot can be the perfect butler substitute, when one adds the cooking, cleaning and a couple of other chips. With plumbots no bed or salary is needed, and you don't have to worry about whether they are honest.. Plumbots usually are pretty honest.. I also like the pod beds and the futuristic art.. Store stuff that has futuristic themes looks really good when added to certain décor, especially the futureshock living room collection.. I also found that some of the items from Automic Age Living and Dining do look great when added to a modern themed kitchen... I'm glad you found those items useful in your game!
