It looks like there is only one hour between my last message and this message but 11 hours have past. I was having trouble with the store as well, when I was attempting to buy the Provence set. It eventually went through, but none of my account information would show and I couldn't download the set. A couple of hours later I got the dreaded maintenance page. The site has been hit or miss for a few days (for me, at least). I did miss a couple of things, but hey, that's what the spreadsheet is for (planning) so no big worries.
I am used to the 12-hour clock because that is what we have here, but I admit I like the 24-hour one better.

The Sims 3 Store for germany is under maintance the american site works.
Got trouble here as well since before noon on my desktop (this morning I purchased the DD at 5.30 AM on my mobile, it worked fine then), I have bookmarked the Dutch TS3 site which has trouble loading. However, I got the daily deal page set on USA and that page won't load for me either. I cannot access my purchases because it won't load. It won't give the maintenance page but frequently an 504 error page since loading takes too long. I haven't even tried clearing my cookies or different browsers to access the site because last time those tricks didn't work. Luckily my next desired DD is tomorrow at 6.30 PM so I got some time. Hopefully it works by then. How about you (edit: do your desired DD's have any risks of nothing being able to be purchased due to this issue)?
I use a program from Mod the Sims, (Sim Game Select) to select and deselect which packs I am running.
Hi @Jude525, I have downloaded the program but would like to know something for sure. Let’s say I have Pets* installed and before I load up the game I use the program to deselect Pets*. Does that mean the game runs as if Pets* is not even installed, aka the PC uses less resources because it “thinks” Pets* is not installed?

The store update patches that download to the 'ContentPatch' folder in your game folder will no longer download. If you are on version 1.69 you don't need them. But if you are on version 1.67 those files are NEEDED for your store content to work properly. If you're doing a fresh install, make sure you save your content patches!.
Hi @ZeeGee, I have always backupped many TS3 files and folders but never the 'ContentPatch' folder since I never realized the importance of that folder. Because of that and because I prefer to stay on version 1.67, I use the resources you have made available (thank you). I'm curious if it's possible to create my own ContentPatch files if I (temporary) patch to version 1.69? Would that happen if I update to version 1.69 and install one store item through the launcher? After that I would backup the 'ContentPatch' folder and uninstall the game so I can patch to version 1.67. I’m planning to do this anyway since I want to play around with the program Jude has mentioned, see above. I have everything on dvd pre 2012 so I can do this. I probably will wait until I have everything from the Store I want, so I can do a clean install and immediately can use Ciane's method and the movies you have recorded about her method (but this information is not relevant for my question, I'm just chatting a bit. )
@SimLibby First, thank you! It's good to hear my resources are stil being used. And second, yes, that is how SimGameSelector works. Your game will not recognize that the EP or SP has been installed.
Your solution to get the files by upgrading to 1.69 will not work for the ContentPatch folder. Version 1.69 of the game does not put anything into that folder. The repairs are included in the program file that is installed in the update. And P.S., we love to chat here.

The 12 hour clock AM/PM is a bit strange to me. The last message I posted was at 12.01 PM which was noon. This message I posted at 11.03 PM. I was having trouble with the store as well, when I was attempting to buy the Provence set. It eventually went through, but none of my account information would show and I couldn't download the set. A couple of hours later I got the dreaded maintenance page. The site has been hit or miss for a few days (for me, at least). I did miss a couple of things, but hey, that's what the spreadsheet is for (planning) so no big worries.
I am used to the 12-hour clock because that is what we have here, but I admit I like the 24-hour one better.

Hi @Jude525, I have downloaded the program but would like to know something for sure. Let’s say I have Pets* installed and before I load up the game I use the program to deselect Pets*. Does that mean the game runs as if Pets* is not even installed, aka the PC uses less resources because it “thinks” Pets* is not installed?

Hi @ZeeGee, I have always backupped many TS3 files and folders but never the 'ContentPatch' folder since I never realized the importance of that folder. Because of that and because I prefer to stay on version 1.67, I use the resources you have made available (thank you). I'm curious if it's possible to create my own ContentPatch files if I (temporary) patch to version 1.69? Would that happen if I update to version 1.69 and install one store item through the launcher? After that I would backup the 'ContentPatch' folder and uninstall the game so I can patch to version 1.67. I’m planning to do this anyway since I want to play around with the program Jude has mentioned, see above. I have everything on dvd pre 2012 so I can do this. I probably will wait until I have everything from the Store I want, so I can do a clean install and immediately can use Ciane's method and the movies you have recorded about her method (but this information is not relevant for my question, I'm just chatting a bit.
Your solution to get the files by upgrading to 1.69 will not work for the ContentPatch folder. Version 1.69 of the game does not put anything into that folder. The repairs are included in the program file that is installed in the update.
