There are a few lots that I realized I place in every single town. For instance, I add a professional bar to B's Bowlerama from University Life and copy it to the bin so that it can be put in any neighborhood. It's probably my favorite community lot.
I also re-purpose Mick's Master Karaoke from Showtime. I turn the downstairs into a restaurant using the Business as Usual Bistro content from the store, take out the performance stage and just place a mechanical bull on stage, then upstairs I add a professional bar. I set the lot type to Java Lounge so that it has long hours. It actually makes a pretty awesome restaurant.
Does anyone else have favorite lots that they place in just about every game?

Well, I made it work for any town, and tend to use it in every homeworld.
@TheSimsFan96, the Generations mansion (A Doll's House, or whatever it's called) is one of my absolute favorite EA built homes! It's perfect for legacies. Such a nice layout. It's just beautiful.
What other buildings and/or lots do you add to every town your sims live in?
For me, its the Duke of Bows Ren Faire, the Al Fresco Street Market, the Lucky Simoleon Casino, and then some kind of sports bar or exclusive lounge for my sims to hang out in. I also like to add a large park such as the Boardwalk, the World of Wonder park, or some other custom-built park.
I have a small, trendy coffee shop that I built with the UL bakery case that I place in most of my saves (I don't have Showtime -- anyone know if that EPs coffee shop lot type adds anything more than ULs java hut lot type?). I love going to coffee shops to read or work IRL, and it fits really well with my playstyle.
I also always place an arcade built by another simmer (@CK213 Johnny Rockets) -- after I play through my YA's early life, I tend to settle in for Generations gameplay, and I love having lots that are appropriate for child/teen outings.
Huge fan of remaking community lots and this is my favorite. For those interested it is in Bridgeport go check it out.And there are skip level markers and to use the right half it has a hidden room marker which you can see once you have buydebug activated then just delete it and turn the right half into whatever you want.
