I patched up the game and immediately went to play in a new pool venue and I noticed that the reflections in the water are extremely jagged even though my settings are on ultra. I have no cc or mods.
I'm no help on this one. And haven't checked to see what it's doing in my game yet.

Hello.
Are you playing in laptop mode? Try turning it off and see if that helps.
Check that your graphics drivers are up to date.
See if altering the graphics settings and also the resolution in game alters how it looks.
See if alternating between windowed and full screen mode helps.
Repairing the game may help. To do that, right click on the sims 4 picture in Origin and click repair.
Try resetting your sims 4 folder and see if that helps. To do that, move your sims 4 folder ( that is in Documents -Electronic Arts - then the sims 4 folder is there ) to the desktop. Then start the game, and a new sims 4 folder will be generated. Exit the game and then add back the "options.ini" file and the "saves" , "screenshots" "tray" "custom music " and "mods" folders from the desktop sims 4 folder to the new sims 4 folder, replacing the new generated file/ folders with the old file/folders
Thanks for all the info you guys, unfortunately resetting my sims 4 folder, repairing my game and even configuring my graphics cards aliasing didn't work.
I am having same issue with the walls, between 1st and 2nd floor jagged shadow makes the separation between levels awful. Looks like you can see the division between 1st and 2nd floor even without the grid on or in live mode

Turning on Post Processing Effects seems to lessen the jagged lines a bit. I also noticed the more extreme jags in my game in the pool and when I checked PPE it had been deselected at some point- during the patch or by me I can't say.
Edit: Although they are still somewhat more exaggerated from certain angles.
Oh wow! Something I would never have noticed, but can't take my eyes off now! I think the water textures improved a lot actually, my only problem is that the darker shading on the pool walls because of the water don't apply to the bottom. In the pictures posted above, now the water looks like actual transparent liquid, not blue plastic. Anyway, I hope this is fixed asap, because It's going to become annoying.
Another tip for you, @Ponder the Sim is that if you use sweetfx or reshade, you can enable smaa or fxaa, which is an antialiasing that catches all jaggies, including the divisions on windows and the TV image letterboxing.
I have it too. I did download AMD software and managed to improve most of my jaggies and overall (virtual) resolution, but those pool edge jaggies and general reflection jaggies are still there.
This pool colour is much nicer though. You can actually see the tiling now
I have noticed this as well. I also notice it depends on the camera angle. Close ups with the water more at eye level look great. Top view looking down looks terrible. I can almost see the grid lines as if I was in build\buy mode. I have a gaming PC with a high end card so I know it is not my computer.

Too bad, because I prefer this realistic water color more. The edges are killing me though.
Pricefield forever.
