Uploading Modded Sims to the Gallery

Basically, is there anything I have to do special when uploading a modded sim (in particular) to the gallery?

I have a sim that has a hair mod and it won't save to the gallery, not even to my own one.

I click the little file icon in CAS and it gives me the 'gallery' popup where I can add details etc. Theres a radio button to highlight if the object is 'modded' which I click.

I then click as normal to save to the gallery, it says it has but if I go there he's not there. Same happens if I use the 'share' option, says it has but he's not there under my ID.

Is it something to do with the 'upload' process or is he there and there is some option I have to choose to make him show up? Or indeed is there something just missing from the mod?

When you're in the gallery there are filters on the left side of the screen. I believe the last option (when expanded) should have a "bubble" you can click that reads "show custom content". "Check" this, so that you can view sims/lots with cc.

Do you have the Advanced option in the gallery ticked to show CC?

Just so you know you will have to click that setting each time you go to your gallery to download it. Been frustrated at myself more often that I want to admit for forgetting hat at times...lol
