A simple two storey starter home for one or two Sims. It’s pretty spacious and there’s still room for expansion, in spite of it being a tiny lot. It’s the first Cactus Cove house I’ve built - the style is kind of retro modern, partly because of the use of brown. If placed on the lot it’s intended for, there won’t be a lot of money left if you have one Sim, so maybe sell some lavender, there’s plenty of that.

A little family starter, big enough for a family of four. I had to give the kids a twin bedroom because another actual room would have been to expensive. If you move in a family that is larger than one Sim, you’ll have a couple thousand simoleons to either spend on improving the furniture or expanding the house - or sprucing up the backyard. I know this house appears, on the facade, to be a mirror image of the one across the road - but it is a little bit different in terms of lay-out.

This house is slightly more expensive, well, actually twice as expensive as the others two. It’s also bigger, there’s even a separate study and I had enough money to put a few things in the backyard. The kids also have quite nice rooms and I really like that bar in the living room. The potted plants really add a nice touch to the lower floor.
The two starter homes and the more expensive family are very nice! It is great that they are similar in exterior design but the layout of the interiors are different and will suit different sized sims families and diferent sizes of the rooms and features included in the build. Very nice exterior design of each of them! The roofing looms very great! Very nice outdoors dining and play area in the third home. Sims will enjoy dining in the sunshine at the umbrella covered table and kids will have fun playing on the monkey bars. It is great that that there is a bar in the living room area ! Sims will enjoy sitting resting on the sofa having a drink from the bar. Very nice study room in the build. Sims will enjoy painting on the easel there, and have fun playing chess at the table. Very nice windows study desk nook! Sims will enjoy sitting at the desk table using the computer or reading a book, with sunshine coming in onto them through the windows. The pink and blue colour schemes of the kids bedrooms look very nice. Nice study desk nooks for the kids to sit at the tables and do their homework. The books are great touches on the desk tables. The kids will enjoy doing science experiments on the science table or doing art work on the activity table. The teddies are very cute in the rooms!
Each of the homes are very nice! The windows in each of them look great, letting in sunshine to the rooms and providing great views of the outdoors.

Windenburg Church

I thought it was time for a very typical wedding venue, so I built a church. The basement is the party area and the towers are inaccessible (that’s where I hid the easel too). There’s a graveyard, I don’t know if the debug tombstones actually transfer on the Gallery, they did from my library. And there’s a fancy crypt with a bunch of urns - I know, not very wedding like, but I wanted to fill up the rest of the lot with church like items.
indenburg Church is very nice! Very nice exterior which reflects well a real life Church! The Church steeple clock tower looks very nice! The roofing looks very great! The exterior texture of the walls looks nice. The build suits Windenburg. The floral greenery looks very nice on the exterior walls. Very nice layout of the build, both the outdoors areas and the interior of the Church. It is nice that there is a graveyard in the build. The tombstones are a nice touch there. The lavender flowers look pretty along the edges of the walll. The crypt is great! Very nice exterior design of the crypt! It looks great how you have used the columns there. It is nice that you have placed urns in the crypt. Very nice furnishing of the interior of the Church! The texture of the interior walls and flooring gives a great feel to the build. It looks very nice how the seats are set up on either sides of the room for the wedding guests to sit on and watch the wedding. It is nice that there is a red carpet aisleway down the middle of the room. Very nice wedding arch area. The red curtains look nice on the front wall and the golden birds look pretty. It is great that there is a kitchen in the build. The hanging pans, cake displsy item and teapots wall shelf are nice nice touches there. The area with the portraits on the wall looks very nice. Sims will like looking at the pictures in the walls.The reception /party basement level is very nice! Sims will enjoy sitting on the stools having a drink from the bar or eating food at the reception table. They will have fun dancing to the DJ booth music on the dance floor! The bar counter area looks great! The roses are pretty on the table tops for sims to see when dining there. The pictures on the wall and the plates wall decor add nice looks to the room. Sims will enjoy listening to or playing music on the piano .
It is a very nice Church!

I unexpectedly had some time off from work, so I decided to work on the Neighbourhood Redevelopment Project some more. It's another under 40K family home with three bedrooms (parents, teen boy and girl child) and three bathrooms. It's in the same style as the other houses in this hood and has plenty of backyard space. The particular thing about this home is that it has a large kitchen, so it is well suited for foodies (once you upgrade the appliances).
56 Cactus Cove is a very nice family home! Very nice exterior of the home! The roofing looks very great! The lavender looks pretty on the edges of the home. Nice backyard area for kids to have fun playing on the monkey bars and for the family to enjoy cooking on the grill and eating the food at the umbrella covered table in the outdoors air. Very nice layout of the interior of the home! The large kitchen looks great! It looks very nice how the kitchen cabinets have been placed there. Sims will enjoy looking out through the kitchen windows whilst preparing meals. They will enjoy having a drink from the bar with their meals. The pumbob picture is a nice touch on the dining area wall. Very nice living room areas! Nice nook area for sims to have fun playng chess or enjoy painting on the easel. Very nice windows study desk area for sims to enjoy the sunshine coming in onto them whilst using the computer there. The sofa seats sitting area is very nice for the sims to come and watch tv together, and also look out through the windows at the outdoors views. The angling of the tv looks great. The orange, blue and pink colour schemes of the bedrooms look very nice. Nice art nook in the girls room for kids to enjoy doing artwork on the activity table. The ladybug in the bedside table looks cute!
It is a very nice home!

This one is on the 40x30 lot, but it can be placed on a 30x20 lot, you’d lose the yard, but that’s just a couple of things on the lawn - and a pool. I set myself a budget of 60K this time, so I had enough simoleons for a pool, and a large flatscreen tv, as well as a better fridge and stove. Otherwise it’s, both interior and exterior, pretty much the same as the other houses.
55 Cactus Cove complements very well with the other homes that you have created for the neighbourhood. It looks very nice! It is great that that there is a pool in this build. Sims will have fun swimming in the pool or playing on the monkey bars, and enjoy growing plants in the gardening boxes. Nice outdoors dining nook for sims to enjoy cooking meals on the grill and eating the food in the outdoors air at the dining table. The lavender looks pretty on the edges of the home. Very nice furnishing and layout of the interior of the home. Nice windows dining alcove for sims to enjoy sunshine coming in whilst dining there. The chess, art and computer study desk nook looks great! Sims will have fun playing chess there, and enjoy reading book or using the computer at the window desk table. It is nice that you have been able to include a more expensive tv in this build. The sofa seats tv watching area is very nice! The kids rooms are very nice! It looks very nice how the cute animals pictures have been placed on the bedroom wall. The teddy and dinosaur look very cute in the rooms! Nice study desk areas for the kids to do homework at the tables. It is nice that there is an easel for teens to enjoy painting on in their bedroom.

This home is a small family starter with two bedrooms, perfect for a young family or a single parent with one kid. The colour blue resurfaces throughout the house, which is also one of the main exterior colours. As the porch and the dormer on the roof took up quite a bit of money, decorations have been left out, I just managed to squeeze in a few daisies in front of the house.

This one is a bit bigger, more suited for a slightly larger family. It’s also a bit more expensive, just under 40K. I opted for better appliances over decoration, so it’s once again a terribly bare house, but it has a decent fridge. This one has a little backyard so Sims can spend time doing stuff outside. The bedrooms are for parents, teen girl and boy child (could be girl though), but that can easily be changed by recolouring a few things.
5 and 9 Birch road are very nice homes ! Very nice exterior design of both of them! The roofing and dormers look very nice! The front porches look great ! Very nice blue colour scheme of the homes. This house is considerably bigger than it’s neighbours, not only because it has two storeys, but also because it has 5 spacious bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The parents’ bedroom is downstairs, the four upstairs bedrooms are all ensuite and intended for teen boy, teen girl, boy child and girl child. This house is fancy enough to have a separate dining room as well as a separate study - all that for less than 60K!
7 Birch Road is very nice! It goes very well with your other homes in the series.It is great that it has five bedrooms and five bathrooms! Very nice exterior design of the home! It is nice that it is two storeys. Nice front and back porches and the roofing and dormer is very nice! Very nice layout of the interior of the home! It is nice that four of the bedrooms are in the upper level. The windows dining alcove on the side of the home is very nice! It looks great that there is a long dining table there with many dining seats on the sides of the table and on the ends so that all the family members can eat meals together. The menu board is a nice touch on the dining room wall. The colour schemes and furnishing of the four kids/teen bedrooms looks very nice. Very nice study room. Sims will enjoy resting on the armchair there reading a book from the bookcase, or have fun playing chess or enjoy sitting at the desk table using the computer.

My first NRP community lot! And surprise, surprise, it’s the library It basically looks like the houses that I just built for Birch Road, but that is intended. I like to think that the slightly fancier, more expensive houses (the windows are bigger) have been converted to community lots (the other one will be a museum). The interior is mostly in French style, I thought it somehow suited it. I also had a 2x1 space left near the toilets, so I made a display case for old and valuable books. All the essentials are there, also lots of place to make homework - great after school hangout for kids and teens. If you have Kids Room Stuff and want a Voidcritter battlestation and/or a puppet theatre, the sitting area on the landing is kind of superfluous.
@Marley V Well, I was actually thinking about building a base game + dine out restaurant as a replacement for 7 Birch Road, so that those that have that game pack can have a restaurant in the same build style as the rest of the hood (if they download the entire hood). Everything is base game only in my NRP builds, but I'd like to have a few restaurants and a spa somewhere in my worlds though (I have all packs, but I prefer my builds to be generally useable by everyone and it makes for a nice challenge when building). What I'm saying is, you may soon(ish) get another restaurant for Willow Creek
Perfect Parchment Library is very nice! It is nice that the exterior design of the building complements so well with the homes in the neighbourhood. The exerior design is so very nice! The flowers look pretty along the front and back edges of the library and in the backyard area. Very nice outdoors dining area. Sims will enjoy cooking meals on the grill and eating in the sunshine at the table. The water fountain looks very nice there. Very nice layout and furnishing of the interior of the library! The blue curtains look nice in the build. Nice window chess playing nook for sims to enjoy the sunlight coming in whilst playing chess. The rooster and sunflowers pictures are nice touches on the wall. Very nice curtained windows homework study desk table nook for kids to sit at the table and do homework together. The books look great on the table. Nice armchairs, sofa seats and stools sitting areas for sims to rest and read books. The globe looks great in the build. The valuable and old books display looks great! The kids area of the library looks very nice! Kids will enjoy doing artwork on the activity table or sitting on the colouful seats , resting and reading a book. The toys look cute there, keeping them company whilst reading! The bookworm wall poster and the ladybug rug looks cute! Very nice computer study desk area for sims to enjoy sitting at the desk tables using the computers.
