Please remember that there is a five gift limit for SENDING gifts through the mail in a 24 hour period. You can receive gifts all day long but only may send up to five per day. Yay, EA, what were ya thinking?! So this is gonna take a few days and I am starting today. I have chosen one sim to send gifts, she is a witch so there will be plenty of magical potions being sent out. Some will be treats, like a Vial Of Potent Friendship, and some will be tricks, like the Flask of Angry Bees!

As far as receiving gifts? I will be jumping around to various sims and letting them get some nice, and maybe not-so-nice presents. Spreading the joy and mayhem in my little world. I hope to get a lot of pictures to share of the Halloween festivities this week and I hope to see a LOT of pictures from you! I want to see your costumes! I want to see your decorated homes and community lots! I want to see your spooky and/or fun Fall Festival festivities! Children Trick or Treating, pumpkin carving, teens pranking... you name it. I wanna see it. [color]

Thank you so much to everyone who wants to play along. I see there is fun stuff for TS4'ers going on too with Trick or Treat, but I think we will have more fun!

I have a custom elixirs mod, and will likely be sending items from that (for variety's sake), so anyone who can't/doesn't receive the items should let me know.

If you're interested in that particular mod, it can be found on MTS. It's called the More Alchemy Potions mod, and while there is a flag on it because the modder hasn't logged in, I've been using the mod for some time, and haven't had any problems.

I've sent you a potion today with a message that I couldn't accept the one that you sent earlier. I kept clicking on it to accept but it just wouldn't.

If I send potions for all the simmers in that list, I can have it done in 4 days XD

I think EA limits the gifts because of the lifetime wish points. Imagine if it were infinite. If I sent 10 gifts I would get 1600 points. Except if they reduced those points for 5 points, then the unlimited gifts would be more interesting.

NOTE: I may start on Monday.

Ohhh, but 10 gifts a day would be excellent! Even if it is at half the lifetime wish points, I don't even care if my sim gets any points from that - it's just a lot of fun. I guess it does keep me from relentlessly spamming friends with stuffs so they don't have to run to the mailbox all the time. My sim says 'Thanks!'

I have two versions of her, this one as a witch and the other is just a regular sim who hooked up with a genie and had a few genie babies.

As you can see, she is very busy mixing elixirs!

For some reason I have yet to be able to send a gift in game. I click on the 'send gift' icon. Nothing. It is very frustrating.

Sorry to hear it is being a pain for you, hopefully someone reads that who has an answer! It sounds like you are indeed signed on otherwise that option wouldn't even appear. Can you receive gifts?

Yes ,@ Jessa-Dakkar, that's the thing! I will be playing and get notified that I have been sent a gift. Then I'm asked if I would like to send one in return. I click 'accept' or whatever it is, and that's as far as it goes. People probably think I'm some kind of cheapskate!

I later tried to sent these people gifts out of game, but they don't have wishlists and I don't want to send something they may already own.

Has it been like this for long for you? I hardly think anyone would believe you're a cheapskate for not returning an in-game gift! If you'd like to add your name to the list just leave a link to your MyPage. Sometimes the TS3 site acts badly for me and I can't search usernames so it is easier that way. Maybe the problem will get sorted out before Halloween/Spooky Day!

I know what you mean! I get a lot of 'we're sorry, please try again later' notices. The only people I have been able to gift have shared a direct link to their wishlists.

so I will likely be scarce ... also I have the world's slowest internet connection, very, very basic, lol

I've sent my first round of Treats out and I've never been more frustrated by the five gift a day limit than I am right now!

@venusdemilosims, I'm also sorry to hear about your brother. RL always comes first so do what you need to and my thoughts are with you and your family.

Still having issues with the Wi-Fi box. Hopefully it will right itself soon. Everyone may be getting Luxury Care Packages instead of potions from me.

My sim says that is just fine with her! She's been working her butt off mixing potions and a little luxury might be just the thing needed.

I got to play in Deery Meadows though I had to stay offline because I was saving a pool and it's loaded with CC so I didn't want it ending up on the Exchange by accident and I need to save it for myself.
