Why is it so hard to just post photos of your build?

This is really disappointing. I've been playing the game since the original Sims, I've purchased every game and every stuff pack, yet since I haven't recently posted to the forums I'm considered a new member? Honestly I would rather be in the game building them mining likes and Kudos or whatever is needed to post images it has just turned me off from ever thinking of posting my Lots on here of even in the gallery.
