Woot, let's have some fun on this one @duyguugudur . I noticed you're thinking of something like the Universal Studios Orlando Theme Park... let's chat before I start to map this out.

For the key features, there will be a roller coaster ride (or two); gondola ride/other activities from The Boardwalk, Last Venue of Amore & World of Wonder Carousel packs as you requested. Will include concession area for eating/washrooms of course along with the subway entrance. I'm also thinking perhaps an arcade if room.

    Questions:

You've also asked for a small coffee house, pastry, gift shop, half close sall performance area & haunted house... What do you mean by "half close sall performance area"?

Did you want an overall theme for this park, or would you prefer I themed each of the rides/surrounding areas instead?

If you prefer themed rides/areas, are there any particular themes you would like me to include, eg. space/future, fairytale/castle, pirate, ghost/spooky, etc.?

In the coffee house, did you want me to include the Brunch at the Old Mill tea set as well?

Did you want the stuff from the Deliciously Indulgent Bakery in the pastry shop?

Once I lay down the track for the roller coaster and gondola, I'll have a sense of spacing to see if we can fit everything in while still keeping it nicely playable. Looking forward to hearing from you re the questions above :)

@soocoolsim , here i am ! you are super duper fast and many points that i havent thought while requesting.. :) thanks for always thinking one step further! :))

umm i am gonna answer but if you believe things i want not possible or difficult to manage it in one lot, pls let me know and i apologise in advance. it is because of my ignorance/lack of info.

    1) "half close sall performance area" : i have no clue why "sall" is included there lol, sorry. what a mean is i want a not too big performance stage 3 sides & roof closed.. so front of stage is open obviously. it is like live music festival stages, but smaller scale ofc.

    sorry about my bad english

    2) different themed rides/areas will be appreciated definitely! As for rides one might be associated with space/future..in case you manage want second small ride, it might be jungle/water themed? also maybe you can design one area(from any function) as fairy themed with touch of medieval feeling. haunted house will be spooky ofc.

    3) Old Mill tea set will be great :) do you believe it will effect the coffe sales? lol i am a coffee addict or was before my pregnancy;)

    4) definitely yep, Deliciously Indulgent Bakery goodies are soo good to pass :)

thank you very much again for the interest, i have seen the parks you had designed, they are gorgeous.. :) looking forward too!

I noticed that i havent mentioned any futurestock store items in store content list, very very recently i completed futureshock lof collection hence now i own futureshock living/kitchen/bedroom sets thanks to generous simmers :)

    big big hugs xxx

Hi @duyguugudur , no need to apologize for your English... wonderful that you are competent in more than one language :D
I've made a note of your wishes and will try to get as much in without crowding the lot too much. I'm creating in the standard Bridgeport world - deleted the Butterfly Esplanade at 56 Gusto Point Road.

I'm glad you chose different themed rides/areas which is going to be such fun creating. I like your jungle/water idea... already have some thoughts in mind to make this cool. Yep, I certainly can do the other themes as well. Thanks for your comments about my previous parks. LOL about your previous coffee addiction. Will touch base again after I've laid down the main tracks :)

Hi @duyguugudur , just a quick check in. I'm making good progress on your lot. The tracks for the gondola and 1 roller-coaster are completed. The performance area generated a proprietor so the stage is working as it should. I just need to bring my tester sim skills up so she can audition to see if she automatically gets an audience. The jungle themed area is completed; the castle entrance is half-way completed, and the big tent is done.

The question I have for you is regarding your request for an area being "fairy themed with a touch of medieval feeling". I plan to carry out this theme in the shops section (bakery, tea room, coffee house, gift shop) to look like a little village. I can either make these houses (a) more 'fairytale' and add the medieval activities (like the archery), or (b) make the houses look 'medieval' instead, along with the same activities and a few quirky fairy items. Similar structure but different treatments.

Please take a look at the pictures below and tell me which type of houses you would prefer - fairytale OR medieval?

Hi @duyguugudur , glad you popped in. Fairytale will work very nicely for the shops. I have an idea to use a bit of the medieval theme to tie in the stuff from the World of Wonder set.

I went back to the jungle area and tweaked it a little more, lol. There are things to do and find and also a bit of danger for those who are adventurous. A little sneak peek...

Do you prefer to provide input into your build or would you prefer I just do my own thing and show you the end result?

If you prefer to provide input, I will ask you a few questions as I go along to give you an opportunity to be part of the creative process. Your choice... just let me know :)

The jungle area looks great! :) The bridge pathways look very great in the build! The trees give a great jungle look and feel! Very nice picnic area! Sims will enjoy cooking meals on the grill and eating them at the picnic table, in the midst of the plants and trees surroundings.

    OMG looks sooo mysterious & charm. . Can I drool @soocoolsim ?

If it will not hinder you very much i do want to work with side by you, soo ur questions?

I am really excited ,looking forward to hear from you.

Can I ask you something? Do u plan placing a fountain at this lot? Of u are not planning to place no problem definitely! But if u plan to use/place one, can u pls donot use the fountain comes with World of Wonders carousel one? Somehow it is quiet ugly &irritating despite all other items from set/venue is pretty.

    Thank you :)

I'm so glad you like this so far and look forward to our collaboration @duyguugudur

I am very, very happy you do NOT want the World of Wonders fountain.... it's super large so I regain space for other things, hurrah!

Yes, I do plan to add a small fountain in the lot... likely in the fairy themed shop setting.

Are there any other items from any of the 3 sets that you don't really care for?

What about that super large tent from the WOW set... do you really want that included or not?

Lol I am glad u agree about fountain!!
As for the large tent if it is not needed it means it is not have to be there.. :) so I donot mind if u won't use it! Whacking set is also not must if u donot have a space/place to include it. Through i do like carousel :)

Let me check for the other sets & revert. .

Edit : @soocoolsim , from WOW set i especially like carousel, popcorn &cotton candy machines.. I dislike the fountain, found unnecessary the "sandbox item.. as for other items o am neutral,if there is need go ahead if not then no need to force it ;)

Last venue of amore set, gondola item is only wanted item, ofc I like the other parts too but donot mind if u donot place them..

As for the Boardwalk venue, i am fond of Rollercoaster ofc, again if there is no space/need then there is no need to use the other items ;)

Hope this will help you ?

WOW, you really have the jungle vibe going on there! Looks like Tarzan's going to swing by anytime!
  • soocoolsimsoocoolsim Posts: 3,231 Member
LOL @romagi1 , your comment gave me a huge smile... much needed today. Thanks for popping by

PS... something else is swinging in those trees... and it's not Tarzan, heh heh.

Hi @duyguugudur , just popping in to let you know I did some more work on your build. I've made the semi-enclosed entertainment stage you wanted into a Star Wars space themed area. The enclosure for the stage is a Darth Vader mask.... well as close as I could get while keeping the stage rigging. The audience area is loosely based on the Star Wars Millennium spaceship. A couple of pics below to show progress so far. The last pic shows the lighting during a concert. Keep in mind that this is still a WIP so things will continue to change and objects will be moved around. Not sure if I'll keep the blue of the second roller-coaster I created. Let me know if anything you don't particularly like. TTFN :)

(edited to remove picture - further progress made)

The WIP is looking very great! :) The design and layout of the bulld is so very nice! The Darth Vader mask themed enclosure over the stage area looks very creatively nice! It looks great how you have designed the seating area as the Star Wars ship! The background walls of the stage area look great and suits well the theme! The roller coasters through the build look very great! It looks very nice how you have used the large circular window in the entrance area to the build. The rocket looks great in the build.
The build is looking very creatively nice! :)

@duyguugudur , I forgot to check... Were you looking for a real stage like what I created or just an area for Sims to play instruments?
