Wow @AIRIS6962 , you are so totally generous! Thanks so much for gifting @emma1293 this set. Hugs
Emma, please go to the EA store and download and install the set in your game. Thanks to Airis, I can continue to use the Bauhaus collection in your build. Isn't she just wonderful

@emma1293 , the party room has 2 sets of French doors open to the rear patio. I used the fancy ones rather than the plain ones to give it more style. Will double-check to ensure you already have them (think they came with Seasons - which you said you already had). All of the rooms facing the rear have direct door access to the rear.
If we introduce a new colour/pattern we should tie in elsewhere in addition to the columns. I do love stone, so I'll play with this a bit to see how I can include yet keep the clean look you like right now. We may need to hold on this for now until I finish with the pool and surrounding area - which will have a lot of stone with the ideas I have.
Regarding posting the links... instead of using the code, try copying and pasting as text... I can then easily copy and paste to get to the URL.
BTW, welcome to the Forums. As you have just already experienced, there are great folks in this community. Take a look around the forums and browse the threads. I'm sure before long you will find opportunities to post nice comments and finally be able to post links. You can also browse the EA store and add favourite items to your wish list. There are contests and games where you can be gifted points or items from your wish list. Especially if you acknowledge nicely, people also just gift out of the blue just because they want to... as I said, many wonderful folks about there

OK, no worries @emma1293, I can replace the other two. I'm glad you have the light, yay
I was looking to find the peek-a-boo curtains on the Store but it didn't show up in my search.
If you can find it listed in the Store, perhaps you can add to your wishlist on your Sims 3 page so maybe I can gift it to you.

Quick touch point @emma1293 ... you said you didn't like dark colours like black. Could you let me know which of the colour options below appeal to you more. In particular, let me know if you do NOT like accent walls like in Option A and prefer plain walls like Option B. It's the same furniture and placement with different décor pieces and recolours.

i like both option a and b - two wall coloured the same and two another? could you do that for the livingroom and dining room? I will try to look for those things later im really busy today, i was thinking for the pool to lower the ground but there wont be any room to the stairs to go down to the pool haha - what king of style will the pool be?
i just had a quick look at the store and those curtains arent there... sure they haven't been removed? what do they look like? - also could the seventh bedroom be changed to a nursery? if you havent already started furnishing?
Hya @Glenkarri and @AIRIS6962 , nice of you ladies to drop in. Thanks very much for your support. I prefer option A as well, but may tweak the colours to have a little less of a pinkish tone. Yep, I'm having way too much fun with this and procrastinating with the other things I need to be doing instead, lol.

Hi @emma1293 , nice of you to check in. It's been an extra busy past couple of weeks for me however I managed to put in some serious time to work on your build. Added the basement and activities - forgot to create the basement before I put down furniture on the main floor since this is on a foundation so had do redo some work, but all is well now... lesson learned for future. Did some more work on the exterior, tweaked the light feature in the pool patio and added the kids play area. Will finish off the rest of the landscaping once the interior is wrapped up.
I find the interior decorating the most intensive but it's coming along nicely. Did some rejigging of the room sizes in some of the levels and gave the butler a bit more room. Placed all the furniture in the bedrooms and made one a nursery like you asked... recolours are next so that will take a fair bit of time. To help keep down lag in your game I'm trying to keep it fairly clean without much clutter since there is already quite a lot of stuff in this build with all the rooms.
Made good progress on the common areas. The party / bar room looking quite cool now with spot lights to make this pop at night. I've added in a karaoke and Dj booth in addition to the features you wanted. The two-level library is light and airy - main floor includes a feature fireplace in the sitting area. I've made the upstairs a children's library. The feature flooring for the grand entrance is also completed. I next need to recolour the furniture in the music and dining rooms, add some accent walls then these will also be done. Laundry room off the kitchen is completed - also has direct access to the exterior in case your sims prefer to use the clothesline. The last thing left to wrap up the Ground floor is the kitchen which shouldn't take me too long since I know how I want this to look.
Were you able to download and install the Bauhaus set?

omg this sounds awesome take your time with it! don't worry i've been ill the past week so wasn't able to come on and i downloaded that set a few weeks back pretty sure i mentioned.... did i say i wanted a story story library? wow i don't remember but cool anyway! i dearnt ask how much this house is gonna cost a sim? ;)
So sorry to hear you've been ill Emma. Hope you're feeling much better now. Yes, this house will cost a pretty penny however playtesting with a Sim will bring the price down or you can cheat to make your Sims rich overnight, lol. Yes, you said you wanted two separate libraries with stairs leading from the ground floor one so I connected them in the floor plan. A few pics for you - one is showing a bit of the seating area in the library, taste of the music room and foyer outside the living/dining areas. Not showing much of each areas.... will make more sense when you see the full layout. I may still change out some things too

Sure, I can make a nursery in one of the rooms... I was actually thinking that would be a good idea so you read my mind, lol.
Yes, I plan to take the base colouring throughout the house and change up the accent colours and décor elements.
The pool and patio are almost done. I've been dying to show it to you but want to keep some things a surprise too. Think 'modern resort'
