How do I get rid of the annoying white outline on my sims? I hate it.

Hello.
Remove any cc/mods that you have and see if that helps.

Check to make sure that your graphics drivers are up to date.

Change the graphics settings in your game and see if that helps

Do you mean the one when you hover over them? I don't think there's an in-game setting to remove it, at least there wasn't at release - I recall mods being made last September for that.

Hello.
I will quote from a site a fix that may help.

To do so, open up your Cheat box using Ctrl + Shift + C and enter hovereffects off. (hovereffects on if you want to turn it on again)

If you don’t like turning on this cheat each time you load up your saved game or travel between lots, you can make it apply for good using Command Lines on Origin.

To do so, open your Games Library, right click on The Sims 4 box and select ”Game Properties”. Add -nohovereffects in the Command Line Arguments section. If you already have a previous command written, just add space and add a new one.
