What the ____ just happened?

I played my game last night. Took out all CC dated thru sept 1 since it was crashing. I started the game and recieved this msg " the save game you are attempting to load was saved with a newer version of The sims 4 than is currently installed. Please update in order to safetly load the save game." I went to Orgin checked for updates and repaired the game. Well guess that didn't work.ANy help will be appreciated. I also checked my save folder and everything is there.

The autosave may be causing issues. Go to your save folder in Documents -Electronic Arts-Sims 4 folder and move the slot_00000001.save file. to your desktop. That is the autosave file and could be causing issues. Then launch the game. Go to the load button ( the one with the file image) in the main screen in the game, load one of your game files, play the game and see if it is working okay.

Ok i had 3 save Slots. I took out my saves and launched the game.When i loaded Slot_00000003.save the message popped up. I took it back out and restarted and I have lost my entire neighborhood of New crest and my family is now a single unit vice 5 households. Am I right to assume all Slot 3 save ver0/1/2/3/4/ are corrupt?

You may be able to roll back to an earlier version of the save game. The other versions of the slot 3 game file in your game may not be corrupt.
