I think both games have great graphics. They're two different styles. Of course in some TS4 screenshots, you can see the flat 2D background which is pretty horrible, but other than that, I think both are really pretty.

EDIT: I think the trees in TS4 look a bit better although, maybe you're not playing GTA on Ultra. The sky looks way better than in TS4. If only TS4 has clouds like that... *sigh*

For a 2 years old game, GTA does have a nice graphics indeed.

But compared with The Witcher 3? Not.

How gorgeous! I love all the little details like the cracks in the pavement and the plane trails in the sky.

I agree and disagree with this.

I have so much fun on GTA because of the endless open world, but after an hour, I get bored of shooting people and doing repetitive missions. I get so annoyed with the lack of open world in TS4, but can play the game right up until I go to bed.

depends on your gaming style, I guess, I like The Sims game and GTA V together. GTA V is like trying to control a realistic character and playing the story mode to get far ahead of the game, whereas The Sims is endless and so is Roller Coaster Tycoon is pure fun just like The Sims!

I wish EA had given us graphics like this in TS4, I really do, I would've liked it better than the cartoonish way they made it now. Oh well..

GTA V is awesome, I only have it on my PS3 and PS4 but I do really like it. Sometimes I wish there was a combi of GTA and the Sims where you can be just as bad as in GTA with the freedom of creation from the Sims (build and CaS from TS4, CaST from TS3) and the freedom to choose your own lifestile (choosing whether you want to be bad or good), wouldn't that be friggin' awesome!

The realism and details are amazing. And the people look more realistic than the sims. I wouldn't mind upgrading my computer for hundreds of $$$ for a Sims game that looked like that.

The PC release came recently. I would say the PC ultra at 4k on GTA V looks almost as good as witcher. But last gen? No.

IDK maybe I'm getting old but I used to be able to get about 4-5 hours of GTA4 just running around shooting people. GTA5 just isn't there...

When playing on pc.. if you have the machine to completely max out GTA V then it imo looks a little better then witcher 3. The witcher 3 isnt as demanding as GTA V.
However witcher 3 does sunrays superbly. The tree texture and movement in witcher 3 is bad though.
