I could not find a rooms section so thought I would just post this here under General. As you all know I have been a busy simmer completing collections and aspirations, it was quite hard and time consuming, but I would love to share them for those simmers who simply does not have the time on their hands but would love it too. I have seperate rooms so you can just place them somewhere on your sims yard, place the items in your inventory to activate the completion or if you have the space just take the big room and get them all at once

I suggest downloading the bottom link fresh fish one if you don't want dirty room moodlets when putting them in fishtanks

I tested them to see if they give a dirty room moodlet and they did not


I tried uploading them in the fishtanks, but with testing I saw that they do not transfer from the gallery then, they have to be out of the tank and on the floor, so as long as you guys put the room and immidiately go into life mode put them in your inventory to activate the collection and then into a fishtank or a mount they will still be fresh

I quite enjoyed the easter egg hunt, I found that it was easiest to collect eggs while at the Forest camping, everytime my sim harvested a wild plant she would get an egg I am glad to be able to help. I uploaded these a few days ago and they have a few downloads, but I thought I would share them as well. I know how hard it is if you keep on looking and looking just for one item to complete a collection, I had to google where to find the last two fish, I just could not get them LOL

Will this work when downloaded? I had problems in the past with debug items not showing in houses that I uploaded.

All of these items can be found in the debug section, I think. It was the postcards and microscope prints that I had problems with.

@0Chloe I have tested them on one of my other sims that did not do the collection. What you need to do is place the room in build mode then go into live mode and drag the items into your sim's inventory, once they get into the inventory they will activate the find of the item, if you just place the room and don't do that, nothing will happen and your collection will remain uncompleted. Let me know if it works for you this time, I have tested it by downloading my own room just to make sure, and it worked for me

@Prink34320 hope they are all there, my inventory was so full of doubles and things that at one stage I deleted a whole lot of stuff, hope I did not delete a plaque. I did check for mail every time but I did not put them all on the wall at once, because my sim was mostly out camping, most of my collections were find during camping

I got an injury from running my half marathon in the wrong shoes, so had to stay off my feet for weeks, so had a lot of simming time. I had a really hard time finding my last two fish though, ended up catching them both in that little pond by the cave entrance at Oasis park, I also battled with three of the outdoor herbs, I managed to find them with google, they were all behind the Lakeside holiday home, think it was the toxic chamomile and elderberries can't remember the third one. But since I had time, I would just let my poor sim go out everyday and search, I also figured out that the digging stones show you what type of crystal, fossil or metal is in it when you look at the stone itself, so that made it easier to avoid for instance the metals and fossils once I had them done, saving on time while looking for the last few crystals. It was fun, I even completed all the aspirations, the party one was hard, I think some of the party stuff is buggy.

I haven't been able to find Sadnum in my primary household - my secondary household had gotten it right away but the sim who found it has the gloomy trait so I figured that had something to do with it. None of my primary household sims have that trait.

I also can't find any more sun frogs to make the sunsurf frog.

You might have a point there about the gloomy trait, I know my sim had the sad emotion quite a bit if she was lonely because of red social, so perhaps that is why she found it, that is afterall what a gloomy sim becomes with that trait.

Thanks , good job on your collections too, the mysims were tricky, I kept getting a lot of a certain few and not the rare ones, and I can't tell you how many broken fossils I got too, although I did not put that in my collection rooms as they are not part of the actual collection

Yeah there is quite a bit, I started off by collecting one type of collection, but quickly realised that it will take forever to do it that way, so I just did everything together instead. The multiples were a pain, although my sim got rich without motherlode from selling all the multiples

I've noticed that you don't have the fish in bowls - here's my question. For some reason I decided to put some of my fish in bowls and some of them mounted (I dont remember why) but now when my sims pass through my "collection" corridor they get an "uncomfortable" moodlet due to trash. I think it's cuz some of the fishies are foul.

Very nice! I've only managed to collect all the Easter eggs and space rocks. My sims die before they finish the others.

@duska3419 I am so sorry, I did not keep them in bowls or tanks to keep them fresh because my sim was on holiday catching them and collecting most of the time, so its quite possible that they are all foul. So sorry about that.

I play with aging off, don't think its possible to do with aging on, sims never get far with even aspirations with aging off. The easter eggs were so much fun, I hope we get some sort of hunting collection again soon, its fun
