I noticed this guy because I saw he had something in his hand, which turned out to be a book. Another bug? But then I noticed his outfit and accessories.

Except for the pink trucker hat, I kind of like his accent outfit. Looks pretty fly to me.
@mia_noelle97 Your style influencer gives me strong Onceler (from the Lorax) vibes - I wouldn't be surprised if he starts influencing everyone that they need a thneed!
@Admiral8Q I adore your couple the Couters - they look so sweet and also like they would make any event more fun.

Yeah, the hat is definitely not working with the rest of the outfit. It also looked like he had a bit of pudding face, but maybe that's just me.
My newest sim also became a style influencer. She really likes her safari hat.
At least she was (mostly) color coordinated.
And after a promotion...
Gotta love socks with heels and hose.
I don't use CC, so I probably won't see any as bad as some in this thread.

Since the Couters seemed to be so liked here, I may go through their outfits removing/replacing any CC CAS with 'vanilla' stuff as close as possible.
(Of course, they probably have no skills yet or anything, so maybe I should play them awhile first? Or just release them as 'starters' for everyone?

I made a couple a few years ago and recently gave them a makeover and put them in my new save. I gave them both the social media career and here they go on their first day of work...
No time wasted adding the durag to my female sim's situational outfit.
For reference, this is what they normally look like:
ETA: I know this is for townies, but theses situational outfits sure make them look like townies.

If that sim is a style influencer, I can see why so many sims in this thread dress the way they do.

I like that, the safari hat too!
(I may have changed the colour of her hat to a more whitish though to match her outfit.)
Still, I like it!
@MoonlightGraham Haha your townie has some interesting fashion choices. Honestly though, I’m kind of feeling his vibe 😂 Reminds me of someone that would attend a St. Patrick’s Day event mentioned in an SNL Stefon sketch!
I'm not rude or insecure enough to care what anyone else chooses to wear, even if they're characters in game. Each to their own!
I don't think anyone sharing townie fashion pics are rude or insecure. Just having fun. 🙂
I agree. I actually love the Sims fashion and this is one of my favorite threads.
It's just sad that sometimes people are angry at Sims who don't wear clothes that are fashionable in real life. For me it's refreshing that Sims create their own fashion. My own Sims clothing styles are mostly boring because I don't know anything about real life fashion, so it's fun to see Sims wearing all kinds of clothing combinations that are definitely not boring. I just wish I'd see them more often, because nowadays it seems that San Myshuno festivals are the only places where I can see those.
@Kimmer, I totally agree! I actually never edit unplayed sims in CAS other than sometimes to .. uh...correct really bizarre makeup. I find the choices they make on their own really entertaining.
I was recently walking around in a CostCo (irl) and taking note of what other shoppers were wearing and I was thinking "These people have crazier senses of style than the Sims..." So in that respect, I find that the Sims is a realistic, albeit at times exaggerated, reflection of reality.
That is the essence of this thread. Let's have a chuckle at the weirdness that total randomness can create.
I really should create a throwaway save just to see what townies my game can create with the ludicrous amount of cc I can provide it to work with. I have literally billions, trillions of combinations for the game to choose from. I have thousands of hairstyles, dresses, tops, skirts, shorts, shoes, boots, makeup, etc...

I bet this guy's been "WANTED!" by the T.F.P. (Townie Fashion Police) for awhile...

Thanks @Becka28 !
@Admiral8Q Yes please, I would love to add them in my game as starter Sims
I was wondering when the new kit assets would appear in game but I don't hate it. He was wearing vampire shoes though

I have uploaded "The Couters" to the gallery. A no-CC version.

I can't resist. I'm off to the Gallery to add "The Couters" to my game.
And, while I'm here...
What happens in San Myshuno stays in San Myshuno.
Exie hay, cavero, mabza meeah vendarzo.
Yevsas mairzeemo!
That's mild compared to some I've seen there. The good thing is that they don't appear in other places. So far.
I love the hat! 😂
