Weird Shadows on Faces

Sometimes when my sims are outside at night, their faces look like this:
It's only when they're outside, and it's only sometimes, not all the time. I can load up the save and it will be that way, I can exit the game and get back in and they'll look normal, and then I can exit and get back in again and it'll look like that again. It's really annoying. What do I do to fix it?
