Uhhh infinite load screens after patch?

Okay, so last night I was trying to play the sims. All I wanted to do was take my sims on a date. But I couldnt!
I put a bar in newcrest, avarice acres I think the lot was called, but every time I sent my sims there it would just load and load, I'd wait about 5 minutes before just restarting my laptop, but it happened 4 times! Just once right after another. I even thought maybe the bar got corrupted (somehow) so I bulldozed it and downloaded a different bar from the gallery, and it still wouldn't load. Then finally I gave up and went to the lounge in willow creek instead, the load screen was still long , but not 5 minutes long.
I also never experienced these extra long/possibly infinite load screens until after this last patch.... This stinks haha

Hello.

Sometimes having a large amount of items in the sims inventories and household inventory can cause issues. Perhaps remove some of the items from the inventories and see if that helps.

Try lowering your graphics settings and see if that helps.

Thank you for the response! I'll try clearing their inventories, they're collectors and gardeners so maybe that would really help.
I am unbelievably computer challenged so lets hope I don't have to post that info haha

Hello @Cuddleblaine. Are you having long loading times trying to load your household/build?
Try lowering your graphics settings and see if that helps.

@rosemow i tried lowering the graphic settings, but it still just loaded. Then I tried taking out my mods folder, and it worked fine again, so I guess it's just an outdated mod

But thanks anyways, your will to help others is really something I admire

Mods can sometimes cause issues with the game. I am glad that your game is working okay now
