I don't really mind the fashion style or level for this competition (for others though, you need to be careful), as we're focusing on editing and multiple themes, and fashion will not always be a requirement. This competition is meant to act as one giant training session.

About to edit my application But when I pulled up Gimp, the toolbox nor the thing to the right (I don't know what the proper name is xD) were there. Does anybody know how you can fix this?

You mean the windows are missing? Under the "Window" section at the top, you should be able to find several options.
Either the "docks" (windows) are hidden, so hit tab or click the option to reverse it, or they have been closed, so go to "Recently closed docks" and click on them to reactivate them.
To make everything a single window so it's less buggy and they stop disappearing, click the option "Single-Window Mode". ^_^

I just search keywords in Google when trying to find fonts. ^_^ So for this one it was "happy fonts" and I pulled up one of the websites and this font was there. For this specific font though, here: http://www.fontspace.com/font-a-licious/kinkie

Ohhhhhhhhhhh! I see now! You joined the Sims 3 beginners comp I was in! Welcome back to the forums! However, this is not the same comp as Antebellum's, even though we do have similarities (which I didn't notice until now ). Also, this is only for the Sims 4, but everything you learn here can be applied to the Sims 3.
And holy moly! Ante and I both used hearts in our title too! No wonder you were confused. Ugh. I don't wanna change it though, it matches my banners.
And is this seriously all the people we have so far for the competition side? :O Hopefully we get more before the week is up.....If not, hopefully everyone else is a drop in.
Bodyshot:
*Full body shot (do not cut the feet, head, or other limbs off. The same as any other bodyshot, in other words.) Try to keep poses from being…extreme. So no gymnastic or wide open poses. So a normal model or neutral pose is good. No sitting (why would you do that?)! Keep the camera in a normal angle too. So no side shots or from up above.
*Wearing a blue dress/suit. May be long or short, but make it stylish. I know S4 has limited colors, but try your best! *Hair should be up
*White or contrasting background (so don’t put them in a red background with red hair, or blue background with blue dress)
Does a low ponytail or pigtails count as up, or do you want it up in a bun or high ponytail?

I would prefer a medium or high hair style, and bun, twist, or ponytail is fine, just as long as it's up. ^_^ If you're not sure about a hairstyle, just post a link or image and I'll see if it fits.
