Here's my next entry for usernames. This time I made it my 2 favourite colour combination pink and black The Sim in the pick isn't me, I wish I could look like that
The house is 25 tiles in total, I hope I did it right also if anyone uploads it could you please tell me if the T.V above the fridge disappears? It was occasionally vanishing in my game. I think it was MOO's fault.
You can find it in my gallery
Very nice. I know what you mean about the Sim. I have become superstitious about making a Simself. I have made Sims to represent my presence but it gets kind of creepy if the Sim is supposed to be me.

It does get a bit creepy, it's always hard to make yourself. Tried once, failed miserably and decided I preferred to play with good looking Sims
When I was about 5, I had a white rabbit named Paddy. I grew up in Southeast Asia, so everyone thought I'd actually named him Padi ("rice field") on account of his white fur. Actually, I'd named him after a puppy character from a British comic strip, on account of his (their?) paddy paws. Paddy grew to be huge, possibly because I'd secretly feed him carrot chips between meals (yes, I was a 5-year-old chopping up carrots with a kitchen knife, which I was emphatically NOT allowed to do) and my godmother was of the opinion that he was a hare, not a rabbit.
The sim I made for the pictures is named Paddy O'Hare. I call the house the "Rabbit Burrow".
So ... with a name like "Paddy", he's got to be Irish, right? Hence the green trim on nearly everything. Without actually looking at any Irish country cottages, I went ahead and made it a little stone cottage with a thatched roof ... checking Google now, I see I should probably have gone with a plain white finish (maybe Pretty In Plaster) instead of the Country Fieldstone I used, but I'm too lazy to go back and change that when I've already saved the lot and taken my pictures.
The padi/Paddy thing made me figure that the place should probably be geared towards an avid gardener. Paddy's planted some vegetables for the picture, but those vegetables don't come with the download, sorry. The planter boxes do, though.
An interior shot, with Paddy chopping up asparagus. I swear I was way more careful than he seems to be when I was 5.
And after a long day of gardening and asparagus, it's to bed ... underground. He's a rabbit, remember?
I'm currently working on a despicable me Mini and I'm having great troubles sticking to a budget. I have a very good idea on how I want it to look but won't be able to stick to $20,000 If I go over can I still post it for the challenge?

Absolutely ADORABLE! Those were the words that came out of my mouth the moment I saw the house. The fieldstone is perfect and I am glad you did not change it.

Speaking on behalf of @ButtonsGinger I say Yes please post your build. I am sure she will not mind at all.
Presenting: Zen Pagoda
Theme: Storage Wars
End Cost: 39, 414 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom Asian inspired home. I tried to include my Chun Li sim in the pictures, but she decided to go sit in a corner to watch TV. /smh

Thank you @EuphorialQueen! So far I like a lot of your builds and it amazes me how you utilize the space you are given. So far I have stuck with basic box shapes for my Micro Mini homes. Hopefully I can come up with something for the Pet theme!

It does take a bit of plotting and planning. In a restricted space allotment I sometimes use the Zero § rooms to practice using only the 25 squares allowed for the living space.
Chun-Li is a player character from the Street Fighter fighting game franchise created by Capcom. The first female fighter introduced into the Street Fighter canon, she is depicted in the games' storyline as an expert martial artist and Interpol officer who restlessly seeks revenge for the death of her father at the hands of the nefarious M. Bison, leader of the Shadaloo crime syndicate.

Hi. I'm new to this thread (just found it). Going try this challenge (I love small cluttered houses).
Question: House footprint - This refers to the ground floor? (US first floor) Or the entire house (all floors same footprint)? Or other floors can have different shapes/sizes/positions??
@Pebblycat I love the very steep roof slope, the correspondingly pointed gable and the way it all stretches out vertically. It makes for a very cartoony look. (I actually have a WIP with similar roof slopes -- not a MicroMini, though -- and now I'm afraid to post it because it'll just seem like a derivative of yours.)
