Hope you've had a great week and even a better one this week. I'm back after getting my computer reformatted by a friend and here is my latest alphabet house since getting it back. I call the 'Lemon-Lime' house.

Here are a few pictures of my latest alphabet home, 'Muted Melancholy (forgot the 'h' in the share but it's there now.) The house is actually for Marvin Tedford when he takes over the family pen of my Simself legacy, 'Valley Venues'.

Hello, Hope that you're having a great day and here are some pictures of my latest builds.
Here are a few pictures of my 'Eerie Ebony' house with an upstairs that I named, 'Ecru Echoes'. I built for Generation 5 heir of my Celtic Heritage legacy, Eugi Barton. At this point the upstairs has a family room area with 2 future bedrooms and a small bath for the player to decorate. I usually decorate a bedroom for the kids when they become a child and base the color scheme from the clothing they wear which I label as their favorite color.
Alphabet Homes would also like to introduce the latest in the 'Retail Venue' category. It was built for Marvin Tedford for his art gallery in generation 2 of my 'Valley Venues' legacy found by my Simself, Jan Tedford. His venue is called 'Marvin's Treasures'. (I'm sharing the photos from my FB update as they are better than the gallery upload.
This is Marvin's new art gallery called, 'Marvin's Treasures ' which was built in the shape of the capital 'M' and 'T' joined together.

Golden Gate Medical Center: Generation 4: Angling Doc
Arun Hurtado-Willis
Medical Intern
Arun Hurtado-Willis is the step-son of Abel Hurtado who married his mother, McKenna in generation three of my Golden Gate Medical Center legacy. Arun decided to attend med school and takeover his father's practice at the clinic when Abel accepted the Chief of Surgery position at Sim Elsewhere Hospital in BostonSim and moved there with the rest of his family.
Note: To those who don't know my writing style, I use work-around stories when technical issues have led to a complete uninstall and reload of my Sim games and no longer have my previous households and have to recreate a Sim from each legacy family and start fresh but continue with the next generation. Usually I like to relate these work-arounds to something in RL. Sometimes they also involve tragedies with lost household members but managed to avoid that with Arun.
Arun meeting Bella Goth shortly after settling into his new home in 'Alphabet Crest' (aka Newcrest) He was able to purchase 'Ashen Abode' and will fix it up with personal touches and decor as he can afford it.
Arun then decided to join some guys who were fishing at a nearby pond to begin his quest to become an Angling Ace in addition to getting as far as he can in his medical career.
Arun has also been lucking out by finding the valuable collectibles to sell like this 'leopard' frog that sold for $100.
He also found this fossilized rock from the prehistoric era of Sims.
That afternoon, Arun went fishing near the Rattlesnake Bar in Oasis Springs until his growling stomach caused him to find the nearest grill to cook his dinner of sausage & peppers on.
He even came dressed to barbecue.
Arun enjoying a plate of his sausage & peppers and then put the rest in his inventory to put in the fridge back home.
Arun then fished for awhile in a nearby pond before heading home to bed to get rested for his first shift as a Medical intern the next morning.

After work, Arun found some more collectibles near his home.
Then he had a veggie burger that someone had grilled not too long before he arrived.
The next morning, Arun met and treated this young patient for 'bloaty head'.
Good hygiene is a very important part of being a doctor so he washes his hands several times a day. Besides he woke up grungy and I'm trying not to use cheats but several hand washes later and he was clean again.
After supper, Arun went fishing in the pond near his home again and caught a few new fish and an apple in an old chest.

Meet Lorraine Tedford who is now living in Oasis Springs, she purchased a lot next door to Johnny Zest on which to build her own 'L-shaped' home like the 'Lavender Lace' one she saw in one of the Sim house plan magazine. If you're wondering about the rest of her family, Marvin sold his art gallery and has retired so that he and Noelle could spend quality time together in their senior and travel around Sim World and visit places that they've always wanted to see. Meanwhile, Jung has accepted a mixologist job at one of the posh restaurants in downtown, Sim Angeles.
It will be awhile before Lorraine is ready to open her dream bookstore with a reading nook that offers patrons cupcakes to purchase for home or to enjoy eating in her little reading cafe. First she has to earn enough money to purchase a lot on Magnolia Ave and build her business from the ground-up.
With the money leftover from her lot purchase, Lorraine was able to get the main floor and basement put in her home.
Besides running her own bookstore, Lorraine also wants to become 'Friend of the World.' Here, she is meeting Aleskey Friedman who was passing by and she hopes to add him to her list of friends in the near future.
Lorraine has been living mainly on mac and cheese for the first few days in her new home.
Lorraine's neighbor, Johnny Zest came to welcome her and brought the dreaded 'fruit cake'. A couple of days later he came over for another visit and the two of them became friends with the beginnings of a romantic interest in each other.

Later, Lorraine worked on her second novel, 'Toddlers Take Naps' (modified from the 'Tigers Don't Take Naps' suggestion that frequently comes up for children's books
Lorraine making brownies for Johnny and her other neighbor and friend, Israel Whaley who also came over for a visit. The brownies turned out good despite the oven catching on fire. Although she was singed, Lorraine managed to put out the fire before her house burned down. Phew!
Lorraine also likes to paint and sells her creations to a local collecter to help her earn more money.
Lorraine's first painted brought in just over $100.
Johnny seems to be the only who enjoyed a piece of his fruit cake although Lorraine suffered through one later in week.

Thanks for visiting. Somehow the photos on my previous pages got delete while I was away from this thread. By the end of my visit with Lorraine, Johnny & Lorraine did have a romantic interest in each other we'll have to see how things go from there. I play mainly 'As it happens' style but have been known to play cupid.

Eugene welcomes you as he begins to get his life back together after losing his lovely wife, Lily and their baby during childbirth due to complications.
After spending many months back home with his family who helped him get on with his life, Eugene decided to move back into his home in the Willow Creek neighborhood and continue his writing career in his bid to becoming a bestselling author.
Eugene cooking his favorite comfort food, mac and cheese for dinner the night he moved in.
Eating his mac and cheese with mixed emotions as he thinks about Lily but also knows that she would want him to move on with his life and another special someone to love.
The next day, Eugene visited Rattlesnake Bar in Oasis Springs and met Arun Hurtado-Willis along with a few others.

@JLBDreamer : Runs and gives you a big bear hug! Glad to see you here. I have returned to Sims and Friends as hostess and would love to see you return there, too. Things are much better there as some of the regulars who stayed in my absence and newer ones have help to keep it going and now the thread has returned to what it was supposed to be, a fun place to be.
Dreamerz, Jazen, Faye, Nay, DianeTaylor and a few of the other regulars have also returned.
You don't need to friend anyone here, just come and meet the great new regulars of our thread. I also visit CathyTea's Writer's Lounge thread as she is the one who inspired me to return to my thread after a three year absence and to not give up on it.
I've been adding Simselves to my game for cameo and guest star fun and if you have a Sims3 and/or Sims 4 one, I'd love to add you.
Have gone back to using Wordpress as I've finally figured out the 'adding photos'! I have several blogs there now but this is my main one:
@SilverDaybreak- I bookmarked your thread and will be sure to post on it. I need to start a new blog to post pictures and stuff but I'm trying to set up some new games atm. I started fooling around with Sims 4 about a month ago so I knew what i was doing a little before I tried a legacy.
On the Sims 3 front I was able to rescue only a few old Sim 3 Sim files that weren't corrupted. I was able to rescue my original saved sim files of Liam and Erica. I just found one other so I might be able to save some rainbowcy files. I might play with them again but I did start a file there with a new sim too. I can't believe all my saved files somehow were corrupted and I lost all but Gen 1 stuff.
