Hello, my weekend trip is now shortened to a day so I built another letter house, 'Tall Teal'.
Cathy: If you have a family I'm not using, I was thinking of putting some families from the gallery in some of my houses when I start my new legacy. Would prefer to use families of Simming friends. I'll include some pictures of your family as I run across them during game play to let you know they are alright. When I shared my Sims and/or families to my studio in Sims 3, I always wondered where they were and how they were doing afterwards, kind of like a mother hen.

Gah, I keep almost getting into my game, and something always seems to pop up to take my time away from me to sit down for a few hrs... grrr... one day soon I'll be able to sit down for a few hours at get some fun in... please universe!!!

Here is my latest build from last night, 'Golden Gates'. I built the home for one of my new Sims who will be starring in "Golden Gate Medical Center' starring Dr Gonzo Gates from Trapper John, MD.
This is the Hardy home for my 'Hardy Crime Buster' legacy. I plan to make a one-level 'H" home for the alphabet series.

Here is the first update for Gonzo's first update in Golden Gate Medical Center: Generation 1
Episode 1:
Introducing the former star of Trapper John, MD and one of my new legacies, Dr Gonzo Gates who has moved to Oasis Springs and now works at the local medical center.

On his day off, Gonzo collected some gems and other treasures to sell for extra money.
Gonzo's Titanic died, so he decided to settle down and build himself a house in the shape of a 'g'.

Obviously the sleeping area.
Future nursery for a little Gonzo, perhaps when the right woman comes along.
Gonzo's kitchen/living area decorated in golden colors hence the house name, 'Golden Gates'.
Backtracking to the beginning of the week, we have Gonzo about to begin his first shift as a medical intern. (We'll that he's teaching the other interns how it's done.)
Gonzo's main aspiration other than reaching the top of the doctor career is to become a 'Nerd Brain' under the knowledge category. Here he is reading his first book towards completing level one.
Gonzo is cheerful and outgoing and met Sarai Farley while she was talking to another Sim outside his home. They seem to have hit it off so far and we'll see how things progress as time goes on.

Week I: Since Frank, Callie, Joe, and Nancy are in the 'Detective' career, I take turns following them to work in the order in which they are listed. It's also interesting to see the Sims from my other two stories appear as 'cameos' or 'reg local's' throughout the week.

Found Nancy in her police cadet uniform and about to enjoy a hamburger when I got back to the Hardy household after getting Gonzo settled into his medical career.

(Note: This was supposed to be Ned & Nancy's room but Frank & Callie seemed to have claimed while I was playing Gonzo. I did set the game to only auto-age current household so while my Sims won't age while I'm playing my other households, they still get to do their own thing while I'm away. Gives new meaning to the 'As it Happens' style of playing.

When I went to my game, the other day, I found out that Grant & I weren't married in game (guess I created them before figuring out how to set relationships in CAS and it's too late to correct it now. Anyways I found that Sim Grant had 'cheated' on my Simself as he had a lady friend in his contact list with 'lovebirds' as the relationship. She has since passed away in game but I still moved him out of the house.
Now let's begin.
Imagine that, my favorite TV doc, Gonzo Gates and Nancy Drew were the first two customers to come to my bakery.
While my hired associate was greeting customers, I made some more cupcakes to sell.
Gonzo eyeing those doughnuts.
Please give me a minute while I serve my first customer.
I take Tuesdays and Thursdays off to do things around the house. On my first day off I made a garden area to the left of my home.
I had fun fishing even though the fish weren't biting, tonight.
This egg might be a little too hard to crack.
Since my bakery has been running at a loss the first few days, I decided to sell some bigger ticket items like coffee & tea pots as well as the collectibles I find around my home. I also learned not to restock my items when they sell as it cuts into my profit margin.
Then I had the bright idea of selling artwork in my bakery, so I painted my first picture.
Strawberry cupcake, anyone?
I also cook group meals-to-go to sell.
To make extra money, I sold the two topiary trees in yard.
Time for a moment's break will be back in a few with the rest of the update.
Marcellala, I did have a blog on Wordpress for my early Sims 3 stories but getting photos to post there properly got to be too much of a headache and I was using photobucket at the time. Then I created a second Facebook page just for my Sims since there is no photo limit there and found it worked much better. If you have Facebook you can friend, 'SilversSimsstories' there.
I did create a second Wordpress page for my Sims 4 but I've already deleted the photos from my computer for the first updates of my new stories after doing the updates on FB. Copying the link address from a photo on FB just left the link and I didn't think readers would want to click several photo links to see the picture. Maybe down the road I'll start a new story and post updates on Wordpress but for now I'll keep them here.
I'm not playing Sims 3 or 2 at the moment. Sims 3 stopped working for me again and I haven't felt like fighting with it. Am having fun with my new stories at the moment.

This customer passed away while she was browsing. She had become a regular customer, too. Since Mr Grimm left her tombstone behind I put it out by the hedge in the backyard and my customers pay their respects to her.

Cathy: Yes, 'Old Yeller' would fit your ideas. Feel free to use it in any of your stories as a school or library if needed, like some sort of classroom or exhibit area for your campers.
Silver, I love that J house! I like that angling hallway going towards the room at the tip! I always want to live in your houses! I like little odd-shaped rooms!

First we have 'Stylish Sand'.
Introducing 'Eerie Ebony', my little 'e' home.
'Wealthy White' (at least the furnishings and wall colors are supposed to be white but I find they look a little off white in the game.)
The lighting is a little dark but the exterior is white.
'Ugly Umber' house which has mainly umber orange and brown decor that doesn't necessarily look pretty and/or doesn't match.
Last but not least, we have: 'Merry Mint' for your viewing pleasure.
