I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a lot of rain where you live. I hope that the rain starts to ease for you very soon.
Ashen Abode is a very nice home! The small a letter design of the exterior looks great! The open plan kitchen and living areas looks nice.
I hope that you are able to get some sleep.
You'll be happy to now I haven't been washed away by the rain but have just gotten back to my Sims 4 play and was away over the weekend to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
Haven't build any new houses but here are some pictures of two more of my letter homes that now have a second floor and were used my legacy families. They are now available in my Sims 4 gallery since the previous occupants have passed away.
First, here is 'Jumbo Jade 2' where my Simself and family lived in generation one of 'Valley Venues'. It now has 6 bedrooms (including the nursery), 2 baths, a nice upstairs family room, a patio and garden area outside.
The main floor:
The second floor (It was nighttime in game when shared)
Here is the second home which was my 'Baby Blue'. This 2-story version is called 'Baby, Baby Blue'. Somehow it saved at the one level price so when I've tried to put a family in it, it only gives the unfurnished option so I guess players can decorate for themselves. This is how it looked while my Barton family (fr Celtic Heritage) lived there. It has 3 bedrooms with the bassinet in the master bedroom, 2 baths and a nice family area with computer nook upstairs.
The extensions to the two homes look very nice! It is great that Jumbo Jade 2 now has six bedrooms. The layout of both levels of each of the homes looks very nice.
I hope that you have a very nice week too !
Just popping back in to post photos of my new letter house, 'Emerald Eggshell' which is in the shape of the written letter 'e'. It has a master bedroom, nursery, open living/kitchen with a table for two on the tiny little patio off the living room, and a nice bedroom. The house is decorated in emerald greens and white. I built the house for the next generation of my Celtic Heritage legacy.
Emerald Eggshell is a very nice home! The design of the exterior looks very nice! The emerald green and white colour scheme of the home looks nice. It looks very nice how you have done the roofing! It will be nice for your Celtic legacy family to live in this nice home. It is nice that the name of the home reflects the colour scheme.
Hi Rose, Hope you're having a good week. While I didn't build a new letter house this week, I did create a new household to add to my Alphabet (Newcrest) neighborhood as townies.
Meet Al Borland (from Home Improvement) and his wife Tudi with son, Cooper
I put them in the home of the late Ryan & Krista Barton
Your simversion of Al Borland reflects him very well! It looks just like him! His sim family are very nice. Cooper is cute! The blue colour scheme of Tudi and Copper's clothing looks nice.
Here is the latest addition to Alphabet Homes, 'Lavender Lace'. This family home is built in the shape of a standing capital 'L'. Has 4 bedrooms including the master bedroom, nursery and 2 future bedrooms in basement. The main floor has a nice kitchen/living room with the staircase dividing the 2 areas. Decorate in lavender with white accents and trim (since there's not much in the way of lavender/lilac colored furniture. The home is for my generation 3 heiress (of Valley Venues legacy), Lorraine. I may move the basement stairs to the back of the house when I start playing her to make them less visible. This is the first home I've built with a basement. Used the template for my 'Lofty Licorce' home to work from.
Here are the photos:
Basement family room,
Main floor:
Second floor with nursery and bath
Last but not least, the third floor master bedroom with small bath
Hope you're having a great week so far and that your Sims are having some spooky fun.
Lavender Lace is a very nice family home It looks great how the exterior is shaped as a standing L letter! The windows look nice how they are placed in the build, and the colour of the exterior looks nice. Very nice upper outdoors balcony! Sims will enjoy painting on the easel whilst looking out at the views, or have fun playing chess at the table. They will enjoy doing yoga on the mat there in the sunshine. Very nice layout of the interior of the home. It is great that there is a basement level in the home. Sims will enjoy sitting resting on the sofa in the basement family room, watching tv. The open plan living and kitchen area looks nice, and it great how you have used the staircase to separate off the areas. The bar stool counter in the kitchen is nice. Very nice colours and pattern of the flooring and walls in the nursery and accompanying bathroom.
The home is very nice
Hope that all is well with you. Here is the latest installment from Alphabet Homes, 'Abundant Apricot'. This wide capital 'A' family home is decorated in apricot colors. The traditional 'A' was one my most difficult builds as one has to follow the graft lines in 'build mode' and cannot dissect them to make the 'A' narrower, hence the word 'abundant'. Anyways the home has a nice living room area on one side of the 'A' and a family room on the other. There is also a nice kitchen with dining room, sauna room, 3 bedrooms including the nursery, and a full bath. It's a home for the more middle class family as it is a bit on the pricey side. For those who don't have the 'Spa' package that room could be turned into another bedroom or second bath.
Here are the pictures:
Have a great weekend,
Silver
PS Will try to get a front view exterior photo when I post my next Celtic Heritage update on my SilversSimStories, FB page. In the gallery, it only has a side and back view of the 'A'.
Hello Abundant Apricot is a very nice family home! The exterior design of it as the capital A looks very great! Very nice layout of the interior of the home. The lotus flower floor rugs look pretty in the home. It is nice that there is a sauna room in the build.
The apricot colour scheme of the home is nice.
It is a very nice home
Masajo: Thanks for your comment on Abundant Apricot
CathyTea: Thanks for visiting this page and will try to find my other thread. In the meantime please enjoy the next installment from Alphabet Homes.
Rosemow: Hope you're having a good week and lots of fun planned for the weekend.
Here is my latest Alphabet home, 'Whole Wheat' which is shaped like a small 'w' and decorated in whole wheat and some regular wheat colors. It's the perfect starter home with living and kitchen nooks, small bath and a master bedroom. Also has lots of room for expansion to a second floor as the family grows.
Whole Wheat is a very creatively designed home! It looks very nice the way the exterior of the home is shaped as the letter w and the whole wheat colour scheme of the home looks very nice. Very nice layout of the interior of the home! The alcove areas in the home look very nice! The dome type windows add a nice look to the home.
It is a very nice starter home
Hello everyone, Thanks for stopping by Chrinnie and hope you'll be back for more alphabet fun.
Here is the latest from Alphabet Homes, 'Sizzling Sunshine' which is built in the shape of a written little 'S' and as the name suggests is decorated in sunny colors so you may need to wear sunglasses is this home. This a starter family home that has two bedrooms including the nursery, nice living room, kitchen, and a cute little bathroom. The living room has plenty of space to add a staircase to add a second story as the family grows.
Sizzling Sunshine is a very nice sunny looking home! It looks great how you have used the written form of the letter s as the exterior design of the home. The yellow colour of the roofing looks very nice, and it is nice that there is a yellow front pathway. Very nice layout of the interior of the home! The yellow colour of the interior walls and furnishings looks so nice! It is a sunny and cheery home for sims to enjoy living in. Nice living room and bar area. Sims will enjoy sitting resting on the sofas there watching tv and having a drink from the bar.
It is a very nice home!
Just stopping by to post photos of my newest legacy founder in Sims 4, Abigail Simoto who will be a long line of renown scientists as she hopes to build a rocket ship someday.
Abigail is very nice! I hope that you enjoy doing your legacy family and seeing the new generations of children. It is great that they will be scientists. They will enjoy working in their career.
Here is the custom-built Alphabet home that Abigail will live in, 'Sinister Spooky.' It is built in the shape of a lower case written 's' and has a nice master bedroom, bath with open kitchen/living area.
The black colour scheme of Sinister Spooky complements well with the name of the home! It will be a great starter home for Abigail to start your legacy.
Hi Rose, Hope you had a wonderful weekend and am just stopping by to post my last new creation for a little while as I'll be back into my Sims 3 games, today. If you haven't guessed Abigail is based on Abby Shouto from NCIS and joining her but in his own story is Anthony SimNozzo (aka Dinozzo)
If you would like to read Abigail's first update, here is the link:
