My Poor Cow Plant... «12...Next Go

I bought a Cow Plant in The Sims 3 (Console), and I put it outside. Left it there for a few days. Didn't grow. Put it inside. Left it there for a few days. Didn't grow. Put it back outside for a couple of days. Hasn't grown. When I select it, the only option is view. Why is my Cow Plant a small shrivled green thing!?!?

There's a chance that might be a sculpture, since the Cowplant wasn't in the PC version's base game.

that tiny green one is a statue. the real cowplant is huge and doesnt need to grow.

I can't remember what the Cow Plant looks like in the console version of the game, but in the PC version, this is what the Cow Plant looks like.

This one does not grow, you get it from buy mode this size.

Now there is also a smaller sculpture of a Cow Plant, but it is really small, and will fit on top of a table, dresser, or where ever else you can place sculptures. I couldn't find a picture of the small décor cowplant.

@Zeri I guess it's just a statue, then...
@LaBlue0314 I thought you might need a certain level of the Gardening Skill to be able to do something else with it

When I first got the Sims 3, (pc version), I saw the cow plant statue and got really excited. Then I realized it was just a statue. I definitely know that feeling of disappointment, feeling sad for you.

Since you have the console version, don't worry about it. What they mentioned is for PC only.

If you are try to kill off some of your sims, you could do so by building a pool, putting the sims you want to off in it, then building a wall around the pool so they can't get out. There are several other ways, but this one seems to always stick with me no matter which version of sims I play.

I actually like the TS4 Cow Plants the best.
They start out really small, and grow as was mentioned.

And they can die as well.

I didn't know there were cowplants in Sims 4. Were they always there, or did they get added in with an update? One of these days, I'll get back to my two households I was playing there, but for the time being, I'm far too engrossed in my Sims 3 games to feel like going there.

I think they were always there in Sims 4. You catch a seed while fishing. I don't know if there are other ways to get one.

99% sure the console version does not have a cowplant. That statue you're waiting on to grow will not. PC version had to buy it from the store so I really doubt they added it to console.

Yes in TS4 you can fish up or graft to find the seed to plant a cowplant.
