Heads up from Deaderpool, about that Occult Module Menu error:
for 2.15.0, if someone wants to change the Alien Abduction Frequency setting, they'll have to manually set it in the mc_settings.cfg file. The dialog box will fail when trying to set an option from the UI. I'm sure we'll continue to get questions about this between now and 2.16.0, so you read it here first!!
I'm tickled with all the makeup settings, and I also am excited for more aging control. And I still haven't seen it in game, yet. Kinda waiting for hubby to go to bed. It's not far off. LOL!

Because if he's awake the TV is on, and it gets annoying after so long (not long, honestly, I don't care for much of what they call entertainment, these days). I get tired of the background noise, it's distracting. I'm enough of a space cadet on my own, I don't need that kind of help. Y'know?

i do know. i get easily distracted by the differnt noises at work but can have 2 tvs and a stereo on all at the same time . oh and a computer. im a girl so im in descive so when i need entertained everything at once is better than nothing at all.
Yeah, I'm a girl too, I just don't love TV. Music is another matter, in the car OMW to/from work, I JAM (70s-80s pop usually).
Here, when I play, I like to hear the game. I have headphones. But I just showered, and wet hair with headphones doesn't seem like a too-bright idea.
I also didn't mention I have 5 different programs open and more than one window up in each... I get my entertainment from various places, too, they're just all on my laptop. <shrug>
So now that I've played with 2.15 a few minutes (barely), I'm seeing some UI issues on both the computer AND my sims, now. Anybody else notice anything besides the mentioned occult glitch?
I don't want to say what, I want to see if anybody else has seen anything like what I have, before I spill details. Independent confirmation thing. If something isn't right for you with MC, please post about it. Thanks!
Would anybody be interested in taking on a TINY recolor project for me? For somebody that knows how, it probably isn't a 5 minute job.
I would *love* to have these base-game wire rim glasses in some kind of maroon/red color, that's what I wear IRL. Black is just closer to that in-game than either gold or silver would be. Red would be amazing, I'm just lousy at making cc, even recolors. >.<

Thanks! Yeah, I got into a thread where there's a whole page of posts from players using the hairstyle I've had, before this one. It's pretty and I love it, but I couldn't stand being just like everybody else that way. So, a new look, between my 86th config file edit jaunt. Fun times.
This is actually a masculine-tagged style. REALLY my RL haircut looks more like the female child style similar to Olivia Lewis's default look, the one without the rubber band. This was about as close as I could get in the adult offerings. It'll do, till I get bored with it.
Know what you mean - my messy curly "dragged through a hedge backwards" looks (as the husband calls it - how very dare he) isn't really represented either... Anyway, having a break from reading walls of text for work to DL 2.15.0
I found another one of those traceback log errors when I upped my max sims per lot from 20 to 30, btw. Posted it to MC already.
If anybody checks out the Game Time Speed (Relative) setup, I'd love to know how it goes. I'm not wanting to do that just yet to this game.
The other weird thing I was seeing seems to have fixed itself, either when I regenerated a new config file, or as a result of one of the game starts I just blew through. It was VERY odd, like my Pregnancy and Dresser menus got tangled up with each other, and also I was having to click on things THREE times to get anywhere. It isn't happening now, whew!
@egwarhammer If you still need the glasses, let me know. Do you want the frames or lenses red? Or both?
Just the frames. IRL mine are sun-sensitive, but clear's fine for the game. I like to see eye colors. You know I'm really not into cc, but this seems like a cool thing for me to have, to make my sim more like ME.

My menu went NUTS in there earlier. Something's missing somewhere, DP knows what happened, just maybe not exactly where the "hole" is. I started having to click buttons 3 times to get off the main age menu, and I ended up in Dresser and in Pregnancy settings from there, too.
If it hairballs, notice what you were doing, please? It may help him get it fixed.
Here it just happened again, not as bad as earlier, but when I acted like I wanted to change an age setting, and just hit OK without typing new numbers into the box first, the menu stickiness started happening again.

I just started using relative speed last night, along with the other mod to correct career times. I didn't know there was an update for MC till I was just about to go to bed so I didn't test that feature just yet. I downloaded it, but I won't be able to really do any testing until I get off work at 5 est. If no one else beats me to the punch, I'll let you guys know if I run into any issues.
