@Cathytea I'm afraid the lingo I use may be confusing as it doesn't match the lingo of wordpress. I think I may have to wait for @aroseinbloom to get home. It's ok. She's helping me set it up to be user friendly.
Very cool!
I also need to figure out how to add new posts and be able to add them to the correct pages on the screen. It should be easy like:
I write another chapter. I want to add it to, "the story so far" section. There should be a checkbox that I can check saying where I want it to go.
So, one way to do this would be to go to the page that's called "The Story So Far".
Then, click "Edit" at the bottom of this page.
Type the name of the chapter. Highlight it. Select the hyperlink icon at the top, and then you can link it to the post you want it to go to.
To me a "post" is something you write on a page on your blog. Wordpress believes "page" and "post" are something different entirely.
Yes. Posts need to be added manually to pages--if you want them to show up in a TOC or index or as links.
Pages will automatically appear on the nav bar.
That's the way I remember it: a page will appear on the nav bar--a post I need to add myself to the TOC page.

A post would be any new update/chapter for your story. Those show up on the actual blog page on your site. Your other pages probably aren't blog pages, so a new post wouldn't show up there. The blog page is the place your "posts" will show up with you publish them. If you want new text/images on any other page you will have to edit it I believe.
However you could link to any post from any page. If your "Story so far" page is like a table of contents it will work very well to link to each new chapter/post that you publish.
To do that you'll have to publish it, then view your actual site (not the editor). Copy the address for your new post/chapter. Then go back to the editor and paste that link to the page on which you want it to appear.
Maybe this helps a little. I can't give any specific directions, because I don't use WordPress. So I don't know how to navigate the editor.
ETA: Oops CathyTea repsonded before I could. She's probably more helpful, since I don't use WordPress.
@carewren123 I think it's cool for lots of us to respond because we'll each describe it slightly differently, and some of us may have a way of wording that makes it click for someone! Plus, our responses can help others who swing by later, too, and might have these same questions!

Definitely. That's why I left my post. And if anyone ever has any questions about Weebly, I can definitely help then. (I hope I don't eat those words )
@friendsfan367 Do you know how to use the camera man mode in the game? If you hit the "Tab" key while in Live mode lets you take pictures from any angle. You can lower the camera angle. Get close ups. It lets you do lots of different things. And you can still hit "C" to take pictures while in that mode. And when you're finished just hit tab again to go back to the regular mode.
And for anyone who doesn't know you can use the arrow keys (or a,s,d, &w keys) to move around while in tab mode. And q lowers the camera. E raises the camera. Just moving the mouse will aim the "camera" where you want. If you haven't tried it, next time you're in game give it a try. It's kind of fun.

ok, it's official. @roseinbloom wins the internet. She wins all the gold stars. She is just pure amazing-ness. She sat down with me and literally went through all the important buttons with me on wordpress. I told her what my heart wanted and she waved her magic wand, taught me how, and made it so. I am humbled that such incredibly nice and genuine people still exist! There is hope for humanity! She has spent over two days on stand-by (through work and a BBQ) to help and answer questions. I tell you, she should be a preschool teacher with her level of patience and sweetness she has!!
You took something new and a bit intimidating and you went for it! It has been my pleasure to help you. And see you!!! It was incredibly epic and a bit surreal.

I wish! My anthology thread has my name in it, and it's gotten like 10 views. Maybe it has something to do with the word "lounge..."
