Hi everyone! I've been lurking a bit, and I think this thread could help me get some feedback on my story (which I kinda really want ). How would I go about posting it without flooding the thread with a whole bunch of initial updates? Or should I just link to my own thread/blog with all the episodes so far? Thanks!
Long ago we were in a reading circle together and I remember liking what I read but I don't know what has changed in the last five or six years either.
Hey everyone. Question for all you awesome writers. I've been following a couple of stories from the beginning but have recently started following a few that are quite well established. In other words. It's going to take a while to catch up. 😄
Do you mind comments on older episodes or should I just read in silence until I catch up and then start commenting?
@simgirl1010: it's a lovely gesture and I appreciate anyone who takes the time to comment on every chapter or even just a number of them while catching up. But I feel guilty because I almost never do that myself.
I love comments on old posts, too! Often, I've completely forgotten about old posts, so reading the comments brings them back to mind, and that's always a joy! Plus, it's just so fun to know that people still read and respond to old posts. It's great!

Read this blog! This is such a fun story. Plus, the Sims in it are all so gorgeous and photogenic. But it's the writing that's the best part!
Oh, also, in response to your question: How about if you post the latest chapter, and then you could also post a link to the Table of Contents?
I'm starting to think my Henriques save file is cursed. This time, every single lot had a triangle with an exclamation mark above it. Instead of loading each lot one at a time, I decided it'd be faster to just rollback to the previous save. this cost me two days of gameplay. I'm caught up again fortunately, but since this meant going back to the day Olivia was born, I had to redo her outfits. I didn't think to check what quirks she had, so those may be different. But everything else should be the same.
Anyway, after a late start this month, here's a new chapter of the Henriques Chronicles. 2.47 Life with an Infant.
Teaser time for a Sim 66 spin off...This one will be different in that it will have a definite end point and I'll play the game through, do the screen caps and then write it all up before publishing but this might whet your appetite in the meantime.

So I'm playing the game and looking for the plot threads of the next chapter of Sim 66 and this happens...
OK, how am I going to play out this one? On the one hand I have been setting things up for this to happen only it's come along sooner than I expected...so how do I play this?
If you've been reading Sim 66 you'll know that Jeremy is working at the Landgraab Corporation in order to expose the corruption of the Landgraabs themselves. But he's been aiming for something bigger than just financial malfeasance. The way I look at this I've got two choices:
1. Jeremy's always been a straight arrow, a highly moral person so he can take what he's found to the police and IRS but he loses his mole status in the company and misses out on the big stuff.
2. He swallows his principles and holds out for evidence of the shocking truth about the family.
One thing that will happen. I'm going to set things up so that one of these two resolutions will pay off. Which one though? Thoughts?
Hey, I'm new to the forums and to writing simlit. I was wondering what anybody thought, on my blog I have a table of contents by generation. It's a decades challenge so I'm going by years. Currently, I have "Generation 1, 1300-" to be updated when appropriate. However, do I mark the year that the next generation starts or the year that both the founders are dead? I'm curious to here what other people think!
