      Never built a collection, but had a collection as a kid, I guess it was my mother's. I loved the large egg-shaped shiny speckled cowrie shell that filled my palm, best.

      Yes. Once visited an old French castle on a trip and the only toilet onsite was this very rustic and very narrow wooden shack. It certainly did feel like I was back in medieval times when using it!

      Yes, I visited one with my family as a kid while we were on a vacation. All I can recall about it was that there was a huge water slide.
