Absolutely. My own take on Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon in place of Canadian Bacon, and topped with my perfect handmade Hollandaise.

Hollandaise is not that hard to make, and freezes very well in individual portions so I encourage anyone to try it.

Probably my Sachertorte. I love chocolate, but I can't stand chocolate cake because it's just too sweet. So the fact that I actually enjoy my Sacher probably means it's kind of a masterpiece

since no one else has answered, I will answer and then ask a new question.

Yes, another one I enjoy doing, though it's not what I would call a personal masterpiece, is butter toffee. It's wonderful how it pours so thickly then hardens, then shatters, and is the most delicious thing ever, dip the shards in tempered dark chocolate and coat in crushed nuts, then scoop up the crumbs of toffee and use those for sprinkles atop ice cream or atop cappuccino froth. Then add a little water to what remains in the pot and put a lid on it, and make a lovely bit of caramel sauce to pour over something.

Soooo much sugar, but commercial products don't come close in flavor.
