    Apartments and/or flatmates

    This would alleviate some of the problems with not having many lots. It'd be nice to be able to fit more households on each lot. I don't wish to have large households (well I do, but the game is obviously designed for 1-3 sim households) I just want to be able to have more households so kids can "move out", friends won't be culled because they're homeless, etc.

      Locks is all that's needed. I built my apartment I want to move a sim in across the hall, but they will intrude all the time.

      While I would prefer EA make locks, I disagree that this is all that's needed. I don't want to play a large household, have my sims age up when I can't play them actively (I certainly don't want pregnancies to progress) and I don't want to play with aging off.
