Thank you @JULES1111 ! I know about Gunmods, but didn't know about the other lighting mod.
And about the water I want it to look nice from "lot view" not just neighborhood view. If that makes sense.
PLEASE FIX TEENS IN TS4! I NEED YOUNGER TEENS NOT YA TEENS! (^_^)Please add Music Bands with lead singers! Please add vehicles and garages! Vehicles have always been part of The Sims.
You can't just "remaster" and add the sims 4 graphics, open world, etc. You do know that every single model in ts2 would have to be completely rebuilt from scratch? Ts4 graphics aren't just filters. They use a combo of object design and filters. Also, open world wouldn't be possible. The engine was buggy as it was and so.much relied on the way the neighborhood was set up. Open would wouldn't be possible at all without extreme coding and it wouldn't be worth it to ea. They already gave the game for free, they aren't going to remaster it.
To be honest the meshes are fine and some are even higher poly than Sims 4, the textures all just needs updating and UI streamlined.
I'd love them to just update the graphics a little (textures, lighting, etc) but leave the rest of the game alone. I've seen it done to a couple other games (resident evil comes to mind at the moment) and it worked great.
Because like whenever I go to origins there isn't a single copy of the sims 2, nor at G2A. So I used Utorrent to get the game, but the problem is that some of the text is missing, and i was wondering if by chance any of you guys know where to buy the sims 2?
Try reading the discussions/advice on the following thread and you may be lucky enough to be given 2 UC by EA however if you have never owned 2 then it may be prudent to offer to purchase a new unused base game factory sealed with an unused code in return for the UC series which has worked for some and I think is very fair.
Although I have UC I wanted a full series on disc to ensure I always have a way to play and I started to notice recently that good quality sets of the sims 2 series on disc are getting rarer and more expensive so I waited a while and bought a good set of 2 discs from a reputable seller on ebay when I saw them. If you buy discs I would just advise making sure you buy from a reputable seller.
If they gave us a colorwheel or CAS+, did away with load screens, opened the world a bit and fixed time management so I could play with all my family at one time even if at work....remaster away.....oh.....nevermind, that is Sims3 without the charm that Sims2 definitely had.
As far as my knowledge goes, there is a remastered edition of The Sims 2 but only for Mac. It's called The Sims 2 Super Collection. It includes the following improvements:
• Native resolution support, including 4K and Retina!
• Drastically improved performance, thanks to an all new renderer.
• Gesture Support for zoom and rotate.
• Tons of bug fixes and tweaks.
Other than this I doubt EA themselves would rerelease The Sims 2 in any way after the Sims 2 Complete Collection.

It's more likely for "The Sims 1: Remake"
