I just learned that if you build a staircase and then want to change the style of stair, all you have to do is place the new stair over the original one and it’ll replace it. I used to rebuild stairs every time I decided on a new style; this is so much easier.

THAT! Is an extremely good one to know. Took me awhile of smashing the stairs and rebuilding them (Which was extremely annoying) before I figured that out.

That is an extremely good one to know. I've avoided changes staircase styles because of having to smash them and placing a new one.
I think I'm off to change a few staircases right now :)

Yes, I had a neat sim and she was constantly running outside and moping up puddles. I changed that trait as it was very annoying!

Wait, so is her Sim voiced by her as well, or just her in the video?

Just the trailer video I see. ( Which is cool) Ok now it makes sense.

Nalani Mahi'ai is her character. Or NPC-self.

I didn't know your Sim can use their phone while in the hot tub.

I didn't know that Research and Debate is actually improved by being focused and not by confident emotion which is what I thought all social/mirror based interactions were.

Maybe I'm the only one who didn't know this, but I just found this out by accident.

If you right click on a Sim's icon at the bottom on the screen, a little camera pops up, and the screen will follow your sim around instead of the player panning around on the screen.

Hey! Their are many 'little' things like that that I didn't know, and probably still don't know. ;)

I'll give that a go today.
This reminds me, I've never bothered going back to playing through my sims eyes. That was a wired experience.

It's threads like this that showcase all the little details in the Sims 4 that give it a little more depth than initially thought :)

Exactly! Things doesn't have to be jumping at your face to be surprising in this game. Some things are so subtle and hardly noticable, I've found myself doubting what I saw, until it happens again :)

And why isn't this thread pinned anymore? Have to keep it alive now :o

    I know! I thought I lost it 😭
Then I found it again by seeing what I commented on and then starred it. ⭐

There's a bin on Windenburg Island, just sitting there on its own.

So, in Testincheats mode, on a baby's bassinet if you Shift+Click, an unmarked option shows (as a blank) at the lower left. Hoping this would expand into I don't know, CAS options, I clicked it.

Nope. That's the button to have your baby immediately taken by the Social Worker. No interrupt possible. I had to quit without saving, and replay my final 24 (Sim) hours of pregnancy and take it from there.

    Yikes!

    @Sindocat , lesson learned, I suppose? :)
The one: "Never ever click an option with testigcheats without knowing what it does.. BEFORE saving first" :D
My love, my love, my fearless love, I will not say goodbye..

I didn't know Sims could woo-hoo in the shower... or maybe that's new? 😲
(Sorry if someone already said this)

Ooh and the fact that the children of Sims who are world-famous celebrities age up into one-star celebrities right off the bat, but max out at two stars until they become teens.

Hmm, how can they woo-hoo...let me count the ways...

    1. Double-Bed
    2. Shower
    3. Hot Tub
    4. Bush
    5. Leaf Pile
    6. Rocket
    7. Inside a Tauntaun (I thought they smelled bad on the outside)
