Had no idea up until recently that kids can search for abandoned toys and voidcritters when interacting with frog spawners

@1Phoenix8 , if the teen is wearing the scout uniform, the only workaround right now is to adjust sim details setting. See this thread on the AHQ site:

Long lifespan is actually 4 times longer than normal. That makes rotational play possible.

For rotational play I play aging off until the last household in my rotation. Then I play aging on for all households. THat way every household ages the amount of time I played them. Only works if you play all households the same amount of time though (like 1 week each in order).

    For ex.

    Aging off
Play house 1 for 1 week
Play house 2 for 1 week
Play house 3 for 1 week

    Aging on all houses
Play house 4 for 1 week

Now all households aged the 1 week I played them and I turn it back off to start again.

I saw a shiny townie teen today. Is it weird or common behaviour.

And some one help me post the picture of him.

    Do you mean like this?

I have this in my game and it's weird. I'm not a fan of the scout thing so it's not that bad for me. It's just funny to see them walking around like this.

I just started to play rotational a few weeks ago and I play similar to how you do. I had never played rotational because I didn't want my other sims aging while I was gone and not getting a chance to really play them before they got old. Turning off aging briefly while playing some of the households while having it on for others was the perfect solution for me.

If a Sim is reading a book and you sent them to the toilet:

(multitasking in TS4 continues to surprise me. This is the first time I've seen this particular combo ;))

The strangify spell makes all of the sims repulsed and will cause the sims around them to puke. Also you can use the strangify spell on normal sims. xD

I didn't realize my Sims could camp in a tent on any empty lot without owning it.

I could also edit the lot while they were there and add a public bathroom, horseshoes, grill and picnic table.

Sims will text you to ask you to duel them magickally, even Sages that aren't a sage anymore if they've been removed from the position

I just recently found out that sims can fart in the hot tub. xD
My sim randomly farted in the hot tub and it also made the sound. I panned over seeing her laughing and fanning it.

If you have seasons and the weather is 'heavy rain', YA and older sims can shower in the rain (probably as long as there's no one teen or younger to see them). It led me to one strange situation: when all showers in a gym were occupied, one of the visitors just walked outta the front door and took a rain shower standing at the entrance.

There is a setting in the gameplay settings “age active household only” that does this. Your played households will only age in rotation as you play them. So if you play each for a week each will be aged a week at the end of your rotation but you don’t have to try and remember to switch aging off and on.

For the unplayed households you can stil set them to age or not independent of this setting.

When you eat so much grilled cheese you can unlock an aspiration called Grilled Cheese.
Where you can discuss your love of grilled cheese with other sims.

If your Sims move, they get a choice of selling all their furnishings or having them all brought with them in their household inventory, which is a huge pain when they move out of an apartment in San Myshuno, because then the apartment is bare and you have to take the time to re-furnish it for the next household. Same with houses, of course. To get around this, I try to remember never to have a household move out, but to use the Evict function instead, because it leaves everything there and JUST moves the Sims. Had to spend forever redoing an apartment (17 Culpepper House to be exact) and was so annoyed at having to take the time when I wasn't in a building mood, that I went ahead and did it up really nicely, carefully keeping only basegame and City Living items in it, so in case I ever mess up and let someone move instead of being evicted and wind up with it bare again, I saved it as a room (removed a wall panel from the bathroom and bedroom, and boom, it's a "room") on the gallery. But yes, use Evict if you don't want to have to go through the building/furnishing process every time!

One way to get around this if you want your Sims to keep their furniture: save the lot/apartment to your library before you move, have your Sims keep the furniture, then replace the lot with the furnished one you saved :D

If you create a sim in cas that has higher funds and save them to your library and don't play them right after creating them they will loose the extra money and have the regular amount.
