washing the dishes

My Sims have a sink a step away from their dining table in the kitchen, instead they walk to the furthest bathroom and wash in the basin. It is driving me crazy. If I move the sink next to to the hob, they might use it now and then. So many more bugs since the last patch.

Hello.
Perhaps check that there is not a cabinet above the sink or something else near the sink that is causing your sims not to want to use that sink. There may be something preventing access to the sink.
