    Once we have installed the game, for those who use a disc, we don't need to put the disc in the drive to play after that do we? We can just click on the sims logo and everything will play and save without the use of the disc?

      I can't confirm this 100% but if it's the same as with Sims 3 then yes you are able to launch the game without a disc through Origin after installing it.

      I have the disc copy and it hasn't been in the PC since I installed it so yes. I just run it though origin and that works just fine.
