Hi dearest fellow Simmers!
I've finally decided to share with you my Disney Princess Legacy challenge!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy playing it!
Let us begin...meet Melinda Le Blanc, my Snow White and founder of the legacy: her hair is black as raven, skin white as snow, lips red as blood...well, you know the tale! :P
Her traits are: Good (I wonder why xD), Neat, and Music Lover
Her aspiration: Big Happy Family
Life's tough at the beginning. Living on her own, with no family (yet!) and with a job that barely pays for food...Melinda has to rely on what nature has to offer..
However, she finds herself the perfect mate soon enough: just a second, and it's love at first sight:
Her prince charming is Florian Furst, a German handsome fella who lives with some of his friends from the Erasmus good ol' days....

Aspiration: Big Happy Family (that is going to help! If you know what I mean

The two love birds start to live together and, even tough they are broke and their jobs barely cover their basic needs, they conceive a child right away: the product of true love
At first Florian is scared: "A child? How can we provide for a child?"
But he is just thrilled about the idea of meeting his firstborn...
Melinda's pregnancy is going well, and the couple was even able to afford to build a tiny home for their soon-to-be family of three...
Baby on the way, baby on the way!! The due date has come, and Florian, like every respectable and loving dad...is freaking out! lol

She is just a cutie! And enjoys helping her parents with the little chores around the house.
Melinda tells Penny about the new sibling on the way and she is thrilled.
Penny proves to be a delightful child, as she tirelessly helps her parents and shows a rather rare intelligence. She enjoys spending time with her father, who is always working but still manages to spend some quality time with his amazing daughter.
Time flies and Melinda is ready to give birth to her second child!
It's a girl!!! Melinda and Florian welcome baby Lorelai!
Penny is super happy to have a little sister!!!

Time passes by, and Melinda soon finds out that she's expecting another baby!
While enjoying her third pregnancy, Melinda tries to improve her cooking skills in their brand new kitchen. She wants to arrange a good dinner for Florian, who has been working really hard for their family.
Florian finally comes home and, out of the blue, falls on his knees and asks Melinda a very important question....
"Will you be my gorgeous wife, hunnypuff?"
"Of course, silly billy!!! Why wouldn't I? You didn't have to spend so much money on a ring though. We have to save up for the kids"
"Anything for my beautiful kitchen queen! You deserve a little bling bling, you are working hard on keeping the house and the garden"
Speaking of kids......Penny enjoys experimenting on the chemical table her parents bought her for her birthday...
....but MAYBE she is experimenting too much!!!
Luckily, Florian has just come back home from work and estinguishes the fire before it could damage anything else...
What a Daddy!
In the meantime, Lorelai has grown up into a cute girl
She loves the outdoors and spends much time in the pool with her beloved sister and mother
But it seems that fire has taken a liking to the Le Blancs....
Thank God Florian is a master at taming fires!!!
Melinda goes into labour soon after and again decides to give birth at home.
It's twins!!!! Meet baby Niklaus...
...and Danielle!!!
They're just adorable!!
And Melinda has some good news for her bethroted....
That's right. She's expecting. AGAIN!

Taking care of two babies at once sure is a lot of work!
But Florian and Melinda are so happy, that they gladly attend to their duties as parents...
In the meantime, Penny and Lori do their best in school, helping each other with their homeworks.
The twins' birthday comes pretty soon, and Danielle and Niklaus develop a very strong bond from the start...
But that's another joyful event waiting around the corner: Melinda and Florian are getting married! They choose a very intimate, private wedding at their house. Melinda has organized everything in a wonderful way with the help of their lovely girls.
Thus, in front of their beloved children, the two declare their love for each other, 'till death do them apart....
They're just a lovely family!

Another joyful event is around the corner for this beautiful family: it's Florian's birthday!!! All the kids and a very pregnant Melinda gather around to celebrate:
And just in the middle of the party, Melinda goes into labour!
It's a girl!!! Baby Virginia has finally come into the world:
Celebrations seem to never end, because it is soon Penelope's birthday!
And she is becoming a gorgeous lady!

After Penny's birthday, Melinda is feeling sick. "Oh jeepers, I think I've had too much cake" she thinks. But the real reason of her discomfort is pretty soon unravelled: she is pregnant with baby #6!!!!
Florian is delighted by the news and can't wait to meet this new addition to the family
And another celebration is coming: Lorelai's birthday!
And here she is - gorgeous Lorelai!

Melinda has aged up, but she doesn't seem to be ready to give up her daily routine: the day begins with a nice jog in the park.
And while she is enjoying her time in the nature, Penny spends some time teaching her sister Dani how to fish
In the meantime, Sibilla has aged up into a cute little girl.
And soon after, Niklaus and Danielle celebrate their birthday!

Penny decides to take Dani out for a walk, when they bump into Alessandro Alberghini, the son of a very powerful and wealthy family of Willow Creek.
Penelope is immediately captivated by the guy, while Dani....well, she's not that interested!!!
Penny's birthday party is the perfect occasion to invite Alessandro over...
And Florian takes the opportunity to chat with this young man who seems to have bewitched his beloved daughter...
Luckily, Penny comes to the rescue.
P: "I am so sorry for my father's behaviour. He is way too protective..."
A: "Don't worry. He seems a very loving dad. I like him a lot"
P: "Glad to hear it" she smiles at him
Once the celebrations are over, the two lovebirds head out for a walk. They find a quiet bench under the trees and decide to sit down and chat.
And then...this happens!
The two quickly decide to go live together as they can't stay apart for more than five minutes.
The decision is made. What will Melinda and Florian think about their precious girl leaving the nest so soon? What about Penny's siblings?
And is that wedding bells I hear???

My ears didn't lie: the wedding bells were real! In a very romantic setting, a nervous Alessandro is all dressed up to ask the more important question of his life:
"Penelope Le Blanc: will you marry me?"
Penny is really surprised and doesn't know what to say at first...but, after what seemed an eternity for Alessandro, she simply says: "YES"
The two decide to marry as soon as possible and, with the blessing of Penny's parents (and siblings!) and Alessandro's mother, preparations begin right away.
Penelope's sisters are delighted to manage and arrange every single detail of the event and in no time, the big day arrives.
In the morning, Melinda goes for a jog, without forgetting to take out the trash....ya know, Mama's duties xD
The guests start to arrive, and little Sibilla congratulates her big sister first.
Illa: We will miss you Penny. Who's going to read me bedtime stories now?
Penny: Oh sweetie, I am sure Lori or Dani will be happy to do that! Anyway, should you ever want to hear a story, just come and visit me. I will always be your big sister.
(author-entry: where are the tissues!!! *sniff*)
As the guests gather around, Penny and Alessandro share their last moments before becoming husband and wife.
Melinda is just radiant: she is very happy for her daughter!
Alessandro and Penelope exchange their vows: they are officially Mr & Mrs Alberghini!
The party goes on till late, but before leaving, Melinda shares a hug and a last piece of advice to her daughter
Mel: Dear Penelope, I will cherish the memory of this day forever! I have never seen a more beautiful bride. Take care of yourself and of your husband. Remember that it is easy to be happy when everything goes right, but it is during hard times that love and respect will show you how strong your bond is. Be brave sweet child and enjoy life in its each single moment.
Penny: Thank you mom. I still hope to be able to come to you, will I ever need some advice.
Mel: Of course, sweetheart, I will always be there for you.
After a long hug, Melinda gives her daughter a big smile and finally heads home with her still excited and tireless family.
One day, while fishing in the river behind the Alberghini mansion, Penny suddenly feels weird...
Penny: Holy catfish, what is happening to me...
She runs to the bathroom, feeling nauseous.
"Could it be.....?" she thinks.
The test doesn't lie: she is pregnant!!

When Alessandro comes home from work, Penny tells him the joyful news. And he is super happy, of course! The whole family is informed, and presents and child clothes began to flood!
Meanwhile, at Le Blancs' house, Melinda is experiencing very similar symptoms.
"Pff, no it can't be. At my age. Just when I am becoming a granny!"
She takes the test just to dispel all doubts...
But it is!! Melinda is pregnant with baby #7. After an initial moment of confusion, she is so happy to be having another child.
She can't wait to tell everybody.....
Just in that moment, Nik comes in and he's the first to discover the news. Well, that was not the way Melinda was hoping to tell him....
Nik: Ma', why didn't you lock the door??? Now I am scarred for life!
Mel: Don't be silly, young man. With five sisters in the house, you shouldn't be ashamed!
Nik: That's no excuse, you know I...
The phone rings. It's Penelope. She is in labour!!!
Will the first grandchild be a boy or a girl?

Okay...was wondering about that! It makes sense. The one I'm going to do has the first born inherit, so it could be a boy and then you could choose one of the Disney prince's for that gen. Thanks for letting me know!
Penny's labour went great and she gave birth to a healthy baby boy, whom they named Alberto.
The family is still rejoycing about the news when Virginia's birthday arrives, so Melinda surprises her quietest daughter with a blue-smurf cake...
Teen Gina looks gorgeous!
Danielle is the most excited about her sister's aging up, since she has never got along with Lorelai. Dani being a lazy snobbish lady and Lori a hot headed and ambitious girl, the two are simply not compatible.
Dani: "Congrats, G! I'm so happy you've aged up! Now we can really have some fun around here!"
To celebrate her bond with Gina, Dani takes her to the gym.
Gina: "Dani, you know I'm not a sports person...why don't we go back home and play videogames instead?"
Dani: "Are you serious G??? Videogames? Nay, we're going to the gym to meet some guys!"
The moment they arrive to the gym, Danielle spots a handsome young man, right in front of her.
Dani: "Now, that's a good reason to come to the gym!"
She approaches the guy to chat a bit, and in less than five minutes, they're already out, sitting on a bench, and leaving poor Gina all alone.
Feeling down by her sister's behaviour, Gina goes back home. Everyone's out, so she heads to the kitchen to dive into some comfort food. There she finds Lorelai.
Gina: "Oh, sorry, I thought there was no one at home."
Lori: "Well, my boss changed my shift, so I am not starting work 'till 2pm. What's up? Are you alright?"
Virginia bursts into tears and tells her sister everything about her disastrous day with Danielle.
Lorelai gives her a hug and tries to comfort her.
Lori: "I am so sorry you had to get to know Dani's nature this way. She can be really selfish sometimes. Her obsession with boys is insufferable. But don't worry, no one is forcing you to go out with her if you don't want to. Here, have a cup of tea"
Feeling a lot better, Gina thinks that maybe Dani is not the coolest sister of the bunch, as she always thought...
Meanwhile....
Dani: "Edoardo.....So, you're a basketball player. How nice! I bet that's why you have all these muscles....I've just got a splendid idea! Why don't we take a pic to celebrate our encounter!"
Edoardo: "Sure"
Danielle takes out her cellphone and clicks the photo, while surrounding Edoardo's back with her arm..
Just after the click, she quicly turns to face Edoardo and gives him an unexpected kiss.
Teenagers.....
Dani calls home and Florian answers. He sounds rather upset.
Dani "Daddy, Hi, it's Dani. Sorry to bother you, but...can I bring home a friend?"
Florian: "Bring whoever you want, even the entire marine corps if necessary! Your mom's in labour, I have to take her to the hospital, Nik is at soccer practice and Lori's at work. I need you to come home and watch after your sisters! NOW!"
"Well, that was easy..." she thinks, while heading home with Edoardo. She is so into the guy, that she processes the news of her mother's labour only minutes later. And when she does....well, it's Danielle, so it's all screaming and jumping and "I hope it's a girl, a girl, a girl!"
While they're waiting for their parents to call, Dani introduces Edoardo to Sibilla, and they kill the time by dancing.
After a long afternoon, Melinda and Florian come back home....with baby Isabella!!!!
A precious little baby who quickly becomes everyone's favourite
The days after are a turmoil of emotions. Melinda's got a promotion and she practises her piano skills quite often, trying to balance family and work.
Also Lori has been promoted! She is now a promising talent in the Painter career! (The outfit though!!!)
Plus, she's gorgeous so....(author-entry: *so envy T.T*)
Alberto, Penelope's son, aged up.
And Isabella too!
Such a cutie!
Soon it's Florian's birthday and the family gathers together to celebrate Le Blancs' style with a big party!
Now Florian can finally retire from his tiresome job as astronaut and relax.
He still looks soooo good! You go granpa!
And just the day after, it's Sibilla's birthday. Another one. Yeee. Another party. Yeee. Another clean up after the party. Naaaaay.
There are definetely some good genes in this family...
Celebrations seem to never end for Le Blancs, as they prepare to throw Nik and Dani an amazing birthday party!

Now that Danielle has aged up into a young adult, she is ready for real romance and not those juvenile teen love stories. So over it!
After dumping her boyfriend Edoardo, she decides to take a walk and - casually - arrives to the gym.
"Well, well" she thinks "Let's see who's training here.
After a few minutes she bumps into a young fella named Roberto.
Dani: "Sorry, I haven't seen you, are you alright?"
Robb: "I am perfectly fine. Can I know the name of the beauty that just bumped me with such an adorable sweetness?"
Danielle giggles.
Dani: "I am Danielle. Nice to meet you..."
Robb: "Roberto. But you can call me Robb, for I will rob you heart."
The lame catch phrase seems to have its effect on the gullible Dani, and the two soon begin dating.
Meanwhile, Nik has found himself a nice gal to fool around with....
And also Lorelai seems to have found love...
As days pass by, Danielle finds out that Roberto was cheating on her. The breakup is the logical consequence in her filled-with-true-love-dreams mind. Because, yeah, Dani is kinda flirty and really snob, but she is still looking for her prince charming, and is inspired every day by the love her parents share.
One day, Nik brings home a coworker to have lunch together and then continue to work on their joint project. Danielle is immediatly struck by the kindness of the man, and it takes her a few minutes to realise who he is: Edoardo D'Angelo.
The two restore their friendship and, as they talk, they start to develop genuine feelings for each other. They eventually rekindle their relationship, but this time, things are different: they are not lighthearted teens anymore, they are grownups who know what they want and whom they want to be with.
It's just few days after this encounter and Danielle, out of the blue, pops out her lifechanging question to the shy Edoardo.
Ed is delighted, for he was too shy and fearful to make "the move" first.
The answer is of course YES!

The soon-to-be husband and wife decide, with the blessing of Dani's family, to go live together before planning the wedding of the year.
After lots of preparations, the big day finally comes! The ceremony will take place in a recently built beautiful outdoor location.
The guests start to arrive, and also Dani's sisters.
Lori's looks pretty sad, as she wish she was married before her younger sister. And in the same location, moreover.
But, being kind and sweet as her mother, she quickly puts on a smile. At the end of the day, it's her sister's happiest moment, and she will not be the one to ruin it for sure!
As the guests wait for the bride, the party begins!

The bride is finally here! Before reaching the altar, she takes a selfie with her twin brother Niklaus, who will accompany her down the aisle.
And the ceremony shall begin!
Danielle and Edoardo are husband and wife!!!
Everyone's really happy for the newlyweds and they wish them the very best!
Even Florian is superhappy for his precious daughter. He will of course miss her, but he knows in his heart that she will be happy beside her husband.
Florian's right. The married housewife life suits Dani really well and soon she won't take care of only two people.....(author entry: *blinks*)

With Dani married and expecting her first child, the remaining siblings of the Le Blanc household quietly continue their lives.
Little Isabella is treated like a princess: her kind and good heart makes it hard not to love her!
Having a big family means that joyful events are always around the corner: in fact, a few days after Danielle's wedding, it's Melinda's birthday!
The kids organise a small party for their beloved mother.
She aged up pretty good!!!
After the party, Nik goes to the park to meet with his date. While waiting, he bumps into his sister Dani:
Nik:"Wow, Dani! What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be home to rest?"
Dani: "Hey Nik! Yeah, I should. But it's such a beautiful day and I needed some fresh air"
Nik: "You sure are pretty big, how do you manage to even walk?"
Dani: "I see you haven't lost your sensitivity towards women.....-.-''' "
Nik: "I was joking sis! But seriously, how do you feel?"
Dani: "Pretty good actually. I'm excited to meet him/her"
Nik: "Mmmm, I think it will be THEM" says Niklaus gently caressing her sister's belly to hear the baby"
Dani: "What? I hope not! Two babies! No no no"
They chat a little, then the two say their goodbyes, as Dani is starting to feel really tired and Nik has spotted his date approaching.
Nik: "Hi Micky, how've you been?"
Micaela: "Good, thank you, what about you?"
Nik: "I'm great! I just bumped into my twin sister who is very pregnant
Micaela: "Oh yeah, you told about that!"
The two talk for hours, without realising that it's almost time for Niklaus to go to work. But before going home, he offers Micaela a stunning red rose.
Nik: "Here: a beautiful rose for a beautiful woman"
And while Niklaus gives us a glimpse of his romantic side, Lorelai is on her 256th date with her boyfriend. Sure she was taking things slow!
The two lovebirds are enjoying each other's company in the Museum, Lori's favourite place.
And then, out of the blue, while they were commenting on a Picasso, Lori falls down on her knee and asks Simone to marry her.
Simone: "Wait...no way, I was the one who was going to propose today!"
Lori: "Is that a yes?"
Simone: "of course it is! But at least let me give you your ring..."
Happy celebrations are coming, but first is time to Isabella to age up...
And here she is! Beautiful teen Bella!
Since Isabella is the next heir, this post officially ends Generation 1 and takes us to Generation 2!

After much time spent on debating with her family and bethroted, Lorelai decides to wait until Dani's child is born before tying the knot.
Luckily, she doesn't have to wait too much: Danielle soon gives birth to two beautiful baby girls! They are named Athena and Althea.
And on that happy note, Lorelai finally can get married with her love...The theme of the wedding is Lori's favourite colour: PINK! And her sisters agreed to be her bridesmaids...

The gorgeous bride!
While waiting for the guests (and the two missing bridesmaids!) to arrive, Lorelai talks a little bit with her sister Virginia, who's really sad to see her sister leaving the nest, but puts on a brave smile not to ruin this important day. At the end of the day, Lori has been her best friend and most respected counsellour in every matter of her life. Now who will she talk to when needing it?
Danielle and Penelope arrive at last..
Even though Penny does not look very pleased.
"Pink, puah, not my colour. I hate it!" she thinks
Aaaaaaaanyway, the party starts and after some toasts and dancing, it is time for Lorelai and Simone to exchange their vows.
They're married!!! That makes wedding #3 for Le Blancs' offspring!
Giada, Simone's sister, is very pleased as well to see her little brother finding happiness.

While Lori and Simone enjoy their honeymoon, back at the house Melinda - now retired from her music career and with sweet Isabella doing all the chores and cooking - takes some time to learn to use the computer,
She's also learning to play chess with Florian.
Meanwhile, Nik is still dating Micaela, and things are going pretty great.
I dare say REALLY great.
Bella is trying to keep up with school, homeworks and all the work she has to do around the house.
Melinda and Florian are definitely taking advantage of the situation....
While Isabella is cleaning, Sibilla decides to check on her little sister.
Then suddenly a fire breaks out!
(*author entry* well THAT hasn't happened in a while!)
Luckily Gina is around and extinguishes the fire in the blink of an eye!
Fiuuuu....moving on.
Illa, being a loner kid, asks Isabella to bake her a cake, asking also not to tell everyone about her birthday: she's had enough of celebrations, poor girl!
Even though Florian and Melinda did not forget the birthday of their daughter and ultimately celebrate with her, Niklaus did forget about his sister's birthday. The reason is: he's out on a date with Micaela.
They decide to go to a chic lounge bar, where Nik does something unexpected...
Micaela can't believe what she is seeing. Yet, the grumpy and "I-am-never-getting-married" bachelor of Willow Creek is down to his knees, asking her to marry him.
She says yes, of course!
Back at the house, Melinda has invited over her oldest daughter to have a little chat.
Mel: "So, dear, tell me. How is everything going?"
Penny: "Not bad. Only thing is, now that Alberto is at the boarding school and Alessandro is always working, I am feeling very lonely"
Mel: "Oh sweetie, you know you can come here anytime you want. There's plenty of people here to talk to."
Penny: "I know, mom, thanks. I'm gonna grab some dinner. There's a delicious smell coming from the kitchen!"
In that moment, Isabella comes in, greeting her sister and handing a plate full of deliciousness to her mother.
Bella: "How are you feeling, mom? Are you comfortable?"
Mel: "I'm fine, sweetie, thank you. Just feeling very tired."
Virginia has just come home from work, she grabs a plate and sits between her mother and sister
Gina: "Hi, mom, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at your yoga class?"
