Hello @Snorkelbucket Your dining room is so very lovely! The blue and pink colour scheme of the room is so very nice! Very pretty recolouring of the curtains! It looks very nice the type of and how you have placed the curtains in the room. The birds and blossom print looks very nice on the wall, and the floral themed pictures on the wall look very nice and suit the theme of the room so very well! They are very nice for the Florists to see whilst sitting at the table dining. The flowers over the doorway are such a nice sight for sims to see when going into and leaving the room. Very nice dining table area! The colour and type of dining seats that you have used look nice and suit the natural theme of the room. The flowers are nice touches on top of the dining table for sims to see when eating their meals. It looks so very nice how you have placed the flowers on the side wall tables and in the corners of the room! They look very pretty! The flowers on pedestals and the hanging flower basket on the wall are nice touches in the room. The blue patterned floor rug under the diming table adds to the nice look of the room.
The Florists will enjoy dining at their party in your very nice room! It is so very nice! Thankyou very much for entering this week's challenge
@Snorkelbucket - I love how cozy your room is. I could have tea there anytime. I just popped back in to say goodnight you all. Take care and happy simming. **Hugs**
Your dining room is so very lovely! @Kgaff It is such a very pretty room! The leafy wall pattern looks so nice, and very nice floral themed recolouring of the dining chairs! The bow themed dining chairs suits the room very well. It looks very nice that you have a buffet table in the room, and the floral recolouring of it is very nice! Very pretty patterning of the floor rug underneath the dining table! It looks so lovely how you have placed the flowers and plants in the room! They look very nice how you have placed them in the corners of the room and have the baskets with them. The flowers look very nice how you have placed them on the wall shelves. The floral and greenery look very nice placed on top of the windows. The dancing sunflower is a great touch in the room! It looks very nice how you have placed flowers in the planters. The floral themed, scenic and hearts pictures on the walls are very nice for the Florists to see whilst dining there. The sunflowers on the table in the corner of the room look very nice placed near the sunflowers picture. The flowers are a nice touch on top of the dining table.
It is such a very nice setting for the Florists to enjoy their dinner party! It is such a lovely floral themed room! The furnishing of the room is very nice! Thankyou so very much for entering this week's challenge
@rosemow, I'm sorry you feel that way. I had fun making the first room and enjoyed looking at everyone else's rooms, too! Oh well... It was fun while it lasted. Thank you for putting this together, rose.

Hello @60smusicluvr I just wondered if it wasn't suited to sims 3? I just wasn't sure if I should keep it going or not. Thankyou for your kind words.

How so, rose? Maybe it's because the exchange isn't as fast as it used to be or because people moved on to TS4...? I understand that completely, but, truly, I enjoyed looking at everyone else's rooms and was getting ideas from other simmers. In fact, I really like what you've created here and bookmarked right away! See, I like that these challenges aren't huge; I can make a room within a couple of hours and share pics on this thread, time permitting. I like that this room thing is on a smaller scale. I don't consider myself good at making homes, you know the look of the building, the landscape, etc, BUT I can design the rooms and make it look somewhat decent and, for me, that's great because so many of the contests here are about making an entire building. I'm just no good at that. I guess what I'm trying to say is that large building contests aren't for me and I'm sure there are other people that feel the same way. This thread gives us the ability to share stuff we've created without diving in head first.
These are just my thoughts, rose. Maybe I am alone on this, idk, but for what it's worth...

Thankyou very much for what you have written. I know it might sound odd, but I think that I will reopen the challenges again! I will remove what I wrote before! I will post a new challenge tomorrow! I am so sorry! Thankyou very much for writing what you wrote
rosemow, you have nothing to be sorry about. I just wanted to let you know that I was enjoying this, regardless of whether these creations make it on the exchange or not. I really like looking at them and coming up with new ideas. If it weren't for @Kc71886, I would have never thought to use the plants like that. I mean, that's moo with the bushes, right (correct me if I'm wrong)? That's really cool!!!
Anyway, before I start rambling, thanks for changing your mind, rosemow. I hope more people check this thread out.
Well, in any case I'm glad the room challenge idea is continuing! I'm still fairly new to building and doing a house contest is intimidating, I am hoping to get warmed up with a few rooms
Thanks @rosemow for hosting these!

Hello @monday_34 I will look forward to seeing your room for the next challenge! I will post it at Tuesday midnight PDT.
Happy simming!
Yes my room was done with move objects to the extreme. I'm not sure what was posted, but for me personally this thread is currently the only reason I keep visiting the forum. I stopped a couple months before TS3 ended, I usually just visit the daily deals and sale pages, I don't need to enter any contests for sim points so I was just looking for something to do for a couple hours. I like decorating my sims homes, but entire houses can be so time consuming, so I've enjoyed putting my attention into one room without having to worry about the rest of the house, or having to upload anything to the exchange.

Hello @Kc71886 I will look forward to seeing the room that you post for the next challenge! The new room will be posted today.
Your Florists Dinner Party room is very nice! @Sweet2 The green and yellow floral recolouring of the curtains looks so pretty and nature themed! It looks so nice how you have recoloured the dining seats using a nice floral pattern. It looks nice how you have placed the table between the windows and have placed plants on it. It creates a very nice look how you have placed the two smaller plants either sides of the larger plant. The buckets of flowers look very nice either sides of the table. The pink flowers on the table near the door are a pretty sight for sims to enjoy seeing as they enter the room. The floral pictures on the wall are nice for sims to enjoy looking at whilst dining. It looks very nice how you have used mooing to create the flower displays in the corners of the room! They look great! The sunflowers there look very sunny and nice. The pink blossom flowers on the top of the dining table are a very nice sight for the Florists to see whilst they are sitting at the table eating and chatting.
The dining room is so very nice! The Florists will enjoy dining there! Thankyou very much for entering this week's challenge.
I'm glad you were talked out of closing this down! I've been lurking and enjoying getting lots of ideas from my wonderfully creative fellow simmers. It is a great source of inspiration and a fun excuse to use some of the less commonly used items in the game. And I suppose it's time I contribute...
Hope you enjoy and I look forward to seeing next week's challenge!
Your Japanese themed dining room is beautiful! @KaytayRoall It is such a calming and restful room for the Florists to enjoy dining in! The layout of the room is so very nice! It looks so very nice how you placed the cherry blossom tree in the room and have placed the rocks around it and the grass! The lights look nice in this very nice fenced area too. It looks nice that you have used the greenhouse windows. The Florists will enjoy the sunshine coming in and also looking out at the outside views. You have brought the outdoors inside and it looks so very nice! The wooden flooring is very nice. Very nice dining area! The floral themed dining seats look very nice! The Asian themed ceiling lights, the cherry blossom picture and the kimono on the wall are very nice touches in the room which suit well the style of the room. The water feature in the middle of the room evokes a nice peaceful atmosphere for dining. The cherry blossoms on the dining tables are nice for the Florists to see whilst eating their meals there. The floor and wall patterns are very nice! The bamboo plant and the blossom in the jug on the corner table are nice touches in the room. They add to the very nice feel and look in the room.
It is such a lovely calm dining room! The Japanese theme of it is very nice. The Florists will enjoy dining there! Thankyou very much for entering this week's challenge! I will look forward to seeing your room for the next challenge!
Thankyou very much for everyone who entered this week's challenge and posted their dining room. Each of the dining rooms are so very lovely! The Florists will enjoy dining in each of them! The challenge is now closed. I will be posting the new challenge in the next post and also in the first page of this thread
The theme is : A Study for a retired gentleman
Colin is an elderly gentleman. He used to work as a clock and watch maker, but he has now retired from his work. He loves his wife and they are the best of friends, but sometimes he just wants to spend some time on his own in his own study. He would like you to design a study for him. He enjoys listening to music. He also would like to be reminded of his clock and watching making career whilst in his study.
Could you please design this study for Colin? He would be very grateful!
The rooms need to be posted by Tuesday 24th March Midnight PDT
