Hi. I've been playing since the original Sims. I'm overhauling my computer and uploading to the exchange so I can download my favorite things I made. I can't post links yet, though.

Hello @lindarachelle :) It is nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums!
It is very nice that you have been simming since the original Sims 1. You would have many special memories of fun times spent simming over the years <3
I hope that your overhaul of your computer goes smoothly and well :)
    Happy simming! :)

Hi I am Rebecca. I am a very recent newcomer to the SIMS so have only played TS4. I was very unwell and in bed for several weeks and I started watching lots of Deligracy and English Simmer on Youtube. When I started to feel better they inspired me to download and play myself. Now my illness is gone but replaced by terrible SIMS addiction. Not sure if I love playing, CAS or building the best. My gameplay has deepened and strengthened thanks to all the wonderful advice shared here on the forums. Decided to stop lurking and join up. :)

Hello @Becka28 :) It is nice to meet you. Welcome to posting on the forums!
I am sorry that you had health issues that caused you to become very unwell and spending time in bed :( It was very nice that the simming YouTube videos that you watched when you were unwell encouraged you to buy the Sims game and play it yourself when you had recovered <3
There are many enjoyable parts of Simming, from creating sims to building homes and venues, and enjoying seeing the developing stories of the lives of our sims in our games!
It is great that you are finding the forums threads helpful :) I hope that you will enjoy posting on them.
    Happy simming! :)

    Thank you @rosemow 😁
I have built many different buildings, and I once made entire towns of vampires lol. I really love designing the structure of buildings and let alone decorating them as well for the rich and the poor. I have raised whole family trees, pets, and designed my Sims with every detail from the detail tools for the body, clothes, personality, etc.. (I love the 3D look of TS4) the reality of how the react to things and their emotions are magically really Real human like. I love it. 😍

Hello, I've been reading the forums for 5 or 6 years but only started joining in discussions now that I've started playing TS4 properly.

I've been playing since Sims 1 cam out, loved Sims 2 even more, adored TS3. I hated TS4 when it first came out and stayed on TS3 until it became completely unplayable from crashing every few minutes, so now I'm here to learn how to play TS4 properly and try to appreciate it for what it is rather than what I expected it to be.

I like to play premades and when i get sick of those I remake older versions of premades, usually from TS1 and 2. Every now and then I have a go at a legacy but I've never finished one in any game - I usually get bored around gen 6/7 when I realise I'm just going through the motions and I have too much money and the challenge has gone.

I have no idea how to change my avatar - I would quite like to make it my sim-self, so if anyone could tell me how to do that it'd be greatly appreciated. So far everyone has been really friendly and helpful!

It is nice that you have been simming since the original Sims 1, then that led you onto to playing the later versions also. It is great that you enjoy playing premades. They each have their own special background details and it is nice seeing how their lives develop in our games :)

Hello! I’ve played TS1, TS2, and now TS4. I skipped over the legendary TS3, and feel like I missed so much. (Love all the YouTube videos though!) With TS4, this is the first time I’ve purchased all packs (EP, GP, and Stuff Packs...SP?). Thank you all for your posts here over the years: You’ve helped my game play immensely, and it’s fun to join the community!

Hello @summers :) It is nice to meet you. Welcome to the forums!
It is nice that you have played each version of the Sims except for Sims 3. Each version of the Sims is lots of fun and enjoyable to play! It is great that you own all the Sims 4 packs! They add many special features, activities, themes and build mode and cas items to the game!
I hope you will reading the forum threads, meeting and chatting with fellow simmers, and enjoy posting about the sims in your game :)
    Happy simming! :)

Hello! I use your site all the time as a reference since there's almost always an answer to my question already here... but not this time! So, I'm a new poster, looking for answers about a glitch with my seasons pack... And I searched everywhere for this answer too, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to start my own thread! I'm trying to start a new topic under "sims4/expansion packs", but the only place I can find to write anything is as a comment on someone else's discussion - like this. What am I doing wrong? Thank you!!

Hello, I have only played sims3, which I got through Steam a few years ago and keep expanding (when it is on sale). I found the Build-N-Share challenges just this year, and it really sparked my interest, though with a family to provide for and an addiction to MMORPGs (currently ARK), I haven't much time to play. It seems everything I want to play plum away hours of time without me noticing!

I enjoy making sims as well as building houses, and I like to set challenges for myself. I also found the legacy challenge pages, but I haven't gotten to gen 2 on any of 3 different save files >.<
