The Sims 4 Mac and CC/Mods

I just have a quick question and am wondering if you can use the CC/Mods made for PCs and put them in the same folders for the Mac version when it is released? :)

Thank you! :) Do you recommend any mods to download before then? Any personal favorites?

They are the same files... which is great.

HOWEVER. From my personal experience today - stay away from New Meshes. New meshes work great in Windows... but mac functionality right now is really crappy. Either that or Every single CC I downloaded from TSR is trashed? (Which I doubt..)

So just be warned MacSimmers. We're still screwed.

See this thread. To help resolve the issue, OS X users have been asked to post links to specific CC that is crashing their games.

There's also a current issue with script mods crashing the game (those are the ones you're told not to unzip and they end in the .zip extension). Tuning mods (.package) seem to be fine. EA is aware of the issue and is working on a fix to be included in the March patch.
