Theme for the week: A flower-themed outdoor study room
Gallery name of room : Vampire Flower Garden
Origin id : carolynrosser Link to Imgur gallery
Notes: I decided to do a variation on the theme: my room is an outdoor flower-themed study room for a *vampire* student. (Best appreciated by moonlight, of course...) Ignore the purple house in the background. I just built it so that my vampire had someplace to hang out until it was dark enough outside for her to playtest the room.
Your Flower study garden for a vampire looks great! @carolynrosser The design and layout of the build , and the vampire themed furnishings are very nice! Very nice black, white, pink and purple colour scheme of the room which suits a vampire student very well! The black and white chequered flooring looks very effective! Very nice study desk nook! The black colour of the study desk, the gothic style of the black and purple study chair and the bat floor mat underneath it are great vampire touches! The flowers are nice touches on the desk top. Gloria the vampire sim will enjoy sitting at the desk doing her studies, then will enjoy playing the pipe organ when having a study break. The music area is very nice, with the candles on the black pedestals either sides of the pipe organ. The large water fountain looks nice in the central area of the room. It looks very nice the way the hedging separates off the nook areas. The black female statue, bat sculptures and black fairy statue look great in the room areas! The flowers and plants look very nice on the edges of the room, and the tombstones are great placed in the midst of them! Very nice book nook area for her to enjoy sitting relaxing on the black gothic seat reading a book from the bookcase. The white flowers look nice on the coffee table.. The purple and pink patterned floor rugs and circles floor prints add a very nice look to the room areas! Very nice umbrella covered table nook for Gloria to sit under the umbrella to shade her from the sun. The type of fencing and gate used suits the vampire theme so very well! The black barren leafless tree is a great touch in the room. The spider webs look great in the room!
It is a very nice vampire themed outdoors flower study room! Thankyou very much for entering this week’s challenge!
Wonderful creations, and a great weekly competition, I'll definitely try and do something every week! Here's my attempt at this week's prompt:
Entry Form Theme for the week: A flower-themed outdoor study room Gallery name of room : 'Small Flower Garden Study' Origin id : KalopsianDreamer Notes: I've never really done an 'outside' room before, so this was interesting. I've also not submitted anything to the gallery before, so that's two birds with one stone! I did rely on MOO a bit for this, such as the 'fence' surrounding the wild flower bed is actually multiple shrunken down ruin pieces. I hope both the use of packs and MOO is allowed, I couldn't find anywhere saying they weren't...
Anyway, I hope you all like it! I decided to try and do a smaller room since Gloria is in her uni house, which is likely very small and so wouldn't have a large garden - I also imaged it was joint to a house where the empty wall is. I decided on mostly wild flowers , as they would require less upkeep meaning she can concentrate on her studies. But I also added the sunflowers which I imagined she'd grown herself, as well as the flower wall and the flower baskets hanging on the fences too! And with the fairy lights and the outdoor lamps, it should be as pretty of a space under at night as it is in the beautiful sunshine. hope you all like it and that it's flowery enough for Gloria!
Images can't be posted as I'm too new, unfortunately.. sorry!

The design of Small Flower Garden Study is very nice! @KalopsianDreamer It is was very nice reading the background details that you wrote about the room. It was extra special that it was your first outdoors room that you have done and your first build uploaded to the Gallery The flower wall, flower bed of wild flowers , the flower hanging baskets, wall plant and the fairy lights on the wall look so very pretty! They are very nice touches in the room. The sunflowers in the pot are nice and sunny for Gloria to see as she sits at the table doing her studies. The type of table and chairs used looks very nice. The study books are great placed on the table, ready for her to read. The floor paving gives a great look to the room, and the floor lamps would be expecially nice in the evenings.
It is a very nice outdoors flower themed study room for Gloria! Thankyou again very much for entering this week’s challenge!

The Alice in Wonderland themed floral study garden looks very nice! @luckyheather Very nice design and layout of the Garden! The Alice in Wonderland themed pictures are a great and special touch in the room areas ! The black white chequered flooring and the pink patterned flooring looks very effective! The alien plants, combined with the pink, purple and blue flowers look so very pretty in the room! Very nice trellis roofed chess nooks! The Wonderland posters on the walls of the nook, the spinning flowers and the pretty pink lattices either sides of it looks great! Gloria will have fun playing chess when taking a break from studying. The large black and white chess pieces on the chequer boards in the corner nooks is a great touch. The tea table study nook is very nice! Gloria will enjoy sitting there doing her studies, and listening to gramophone music. The white awnings, the hat, candles and teapot on the table, the books on the luggage cases, study backpack and the crockery display shelves items are very nice touches there. The pink bunny suits the room theme well! Very nice creatively designed central water fountain and floral feature! It looks so very creative how you have designed and created it! The bonsai trees look nice in the room. The pink hatted statue to reflect the Mad Hatter looks great! The grandfather clocks and the clock on the pretty floral archway entrance goes well with the theme.
The furnishing of the room is very nice! Gloria will enjoy studying there. Thankyou very much for entering this week’s challenge!

The design of Fatplant Garden Study is very nice! The curved fencing gives a great look to the room ! The flowers, cacti and plants look very nice on the edges of the fencing, and the green with touches of blue colour scheme looks very natural and nice. Nice art nook area for Gloria to enjoy painting on the easel in the sunshine, when taking a break from her studies. The water fountain is a special touch in the room. Very nice glass roofed nook area for her to enjoy sitting outdoors at the circular table doing her studies on the computer, with sunshine coming through the glass roof tiling. The walls of plants and flowers looks very nice there! She will enjoy cooking a meal on the bbq to eat at the table whilst studying. It is nice that there is a yoga mat there for her to restfully do yoga to get rid of any stress that she is feeling after studying. She will also enjoy just sitting and resting on the seat bench, enjoying the peaceful setting. She will enjoy standing around the firepit keeping warm.

I imagined Gloria renting a brownstone apartment in the University district. She has a little garden and patio out front. Her patio has a grill, small bar, comfy chair, bookcase and table where she can use her computer or have something to eat. NOTE: The computer will have to be put in your sims inventory, if they want to use the table to eat on. The garden side has a little bench to relax or nap on, a couple of birdhouses, bird feeder, bird bath, and sundial. Gloria has arranged all her potted flowering plants on the sidewalk just outside her fence, for the Annual Flower Festival.
There a couple of night shots in the Spoiler below.
Kabloom Flower Festival is so very pretty! @WrathofCath It looks a very nice and homely garden and patio, that complements well with her apartment. Very white colour scheme of the table, seating. fencing and other furnishings .The pots of flowers look very pretty on display outside the fencing for the Flower Festival. The trellis covered nook with the greenery entwined columns is very nice! The floral greenery looks nice on on the trellis. Gloria will enjoy sitting at the white circular table using the computer to do her studies, in the very nice outdoors floral setting. The flower box windows and flower ladder are pretty for her to see as is sitting there, and the candles on the coffee table are calming . She will enjoy resting in the armchair reading a book from the bookshelf and having a drink from the globe bar. It is great that there is a bbq there for her to enjoy cooking meals on. Very pretty flowerbed on the other side of the patio! It looks very nice! The bird bath, sundial and birdhouse are nice touches there, and the floral wreath and flower hanging basket look very nice on the door and wall . She would enjoy seeing the birds feeding on the seed feeder as she does her studies. The open gate door is welcoming. The little white bunnies are very cute! She would enjoy relaxing on the bench in the sunshine amidst the flowers, after her busy studying. The street lamp looks great there. The night time photos are very nice! The title of the room is creatively great!
The design of the room is very nice! Thankyou very much for entering this week’s challenge !
@rosemow, Thank you very much Rose! We just finished vacation and I wasn't sure if I'd have time to come up with something for this week's challenge. I'm very thankful some inspiration struck. Love the theme for this week!
You’re welcome! @WrathofCath I hope that you had a very nice and restful Vacation time. It was great that you could enter a room in this week’s challenge, with you just finishing your Vacation

Gloria's plant hoarding is getting out of control ever since she got that part time job at the garden center...
She barely has time to study now that she's looking after so many plant babies, sometimes working into the night on essays and research papers.
It's getting as bad as her painting habit, which has taken over the other half of the deck.
Maybe we should be addressing Gloria's drinking problem instead? A pitcher lemonades all to yourself?! This girl is extreme.
